i used to watch WCW and i didn't even know there was another wrestling program on tha other channel. one day i started watchin WWF and liked it, so i liked both of them and eventually i liked WWF better.

tha WWE now is shit, tha WWF was great.

I always find it funny how the Monday night wars started. First, WCW raided a shitload of talent from WWF, and were copying their ideas. Then when they did the nWo thing and started getting really popular, WWF started copying them by doing things like putting Vince on tv in a bad guy role, D-Generation X, etc. Overall I kinda preferred WWF more, but I always watched both.

I don't think anyone takes it seriously as a sport, but the wrestlers are some of the best athletes out there to do what they do day in and day out.

whoever thinks wwf was superior to wcw knows nothing about wrestling. the only reason why vince won the war was because he had more money. wcw were struglling financially.

vince is a fuckin idiot. when he bought wcw, he just threw everything in the garbage. he just got the talent and changed all the roles. he tried the nWo thing but it flopped cuz he's a fuckin idiot.

same with ecw. look at the ecw ppv coming up. its gonna be the biggest flop bcuz of vince.

the real brains are eric bischoff and paul heyman.

i used to sit watch every minute of ecw and wcw. now, wwe i just leave the tv on and just listen to whats happening while i work on the computer.the only reason why i do this is because im addicted to wrestling,so even if i dont feel like watching it i gotta know whats happening.

Calm down man, just because someone preferred wwf/e to wcw doesn't mean they know nothing about wrestling, it's an opinion. And hey, Eric Bischoff wasn't that great either, look at some of the talent he let go of that became major superstars in WWE: Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, Steve Austin (He fired Austin over the phone on an answering machine, that's real class) and plenty of others all because he wanted to push old guys. But I have to agree with you on ECW, I can't believe they are even trying to resurrect it, it's not going to be anything like the old ECW. Oh and Paul Heyman isn't "the real brans" of wwe, and neither is Eric Bischoff. Bischoff has nothing to do with the tv writing in wwe, he only plays his character and that's it. And Paul Heyman is only a consultant to the writers, he doesn't write anything for them anymore

Bullshit.

WWF turned around the Monday Night Wars because of the product. WWF Attitude gave them the upper hand, not money. WWF created new stars like The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin while WCW relied on over-the-hill ex-WWFers. WCW had people like Benoit and Guerrero, but never gave them the opportunity to become the stars they are today.

Struggling financially? How do you think WCW lured the likes of Nash, Hall, Savage and Luger from WWF? They were filthy rich. WCW were the ones with the financial backing of "Billionaire Ted" Turner. WCW were the ones paying washed up stars like Hogan, Savage, Nash, Hall too much money. WCW were the ones pointlessly promoting Dennis Rodman and Jay Leno. WCW were the ones who gave Vince Russo a lucrative contract to lure him from WWF to WCW, where he proceeded to fuck it all up.

Russo ran WCW into the ground. WWE was promoting new stars like Edge and Christian, the Hardy Boyz, Benoit (who jumped ship because WCW was fucked up), Jericho and Angle while WCW was pushing David Arquette, Tank Abbot and KISS, and kitting out wrestlers with shitty gimmicks like the Misfits in Action and "That 70s Guy" Mike Awesome.

During the latter part of The Wars, WWF was on fire. I can't believe you're trying to blame it on money, that's ridiculous.

True, WCW made mistakes that killed them. You say WCW was having money problems. Why was that? Because less and less people were watching the product. WWE was putting on the better show at that time. That and the fact that they were paying guys like Hogan and Flair ridiculous amounts of money, while paying the younger guys, the future of the business, practically nothing and not giving them the push they deserved. I mean Chris Benoit left the company the same week they made him champion, that says a lot right there. At least Vince had the foresight to see that the future of the business is the younger generation, not the old guard.

OK, so because I exposed your complete lack of knowledge and ignorant anti-WWE stance, you decide to pass it off as me being a WWF fanboy?

Please point out what I said in my post that you think was incorrect.

Yeah WCW was the shit, with the Outsiders, nWo, Wolfpac, etc etc. I stopped watching when it became crap. Never liked the WWF at all. Hated characters that had "super powers" like the undertaker and kane or whatever their names are.
