In a fast pace of game you won't have time for that. Of course untill you're not playing CS or something. If so you need 2 tvs :thumb:

Ditto. I always played my FPS's on PC. But now that the Wii is coming, I can't wait to kill in Red Steel, then stab them after I'm done shooting them :horny: It's pixel-precise. I hated playing with analog sticks.

So we're seeing some progress. But right now, FPS's on PC are superior to that of Wii.

I'm not looking to argue. I'm a smart consumer. It's too bad I don't have to do the advertising...as Gamestop will be doing it all in favor of Nintendo's new console. I'm a serious gamer, too. I hate to see people being played for fools with this HD, Blu-Ray, Computer graphics shit. It's pathetic how people get played for idiots sometimes. Wii doesn't bring any possibilities? It's a completely new way of playing games, it lets developers do things they can't do on any other console.

I can't picture not having GTA4 either, which is why I'll wait for it to come out and (probably) buy an XBox360.

As for the PS3 having the most titles, I wouldn't bank on it. A lot of developers are shifting away from Sony. Microsoft have snapped up some games as exclusives that previously would have been multi-console, and developers like Nintendo's new controller and the new options it presents to them.


You seem to think that "advanced = better graphics". You can only improve the graphics so much before people stop caring.

I'd much rather play Madden on the Wii, even if the graphics are worse than the other versions, because it's a different way of playing the game. It looks a lot more fun, it's a lot more involving. That will be the case for a lot of people.

lol HD, and blu-ray support is really important in a console these days. And graphic is one of the most important things to enjoy in game. If you want a good, realistic gameplay without good graphics buy yourself a NES with steering wheel, lightgun or somethig and you'll get what you want. And it won't cost you even 50$

The original PS controller was nothing special. A D-Pad (which they can thank Nintendo for), shoulder buttons (which they can thank Nintendo for) and four buttons. Nothing special. Then the N64 came out with an analogue stick, and Sony needlessly stuck two analogue sticks on their controller and re-released it.

but why ps3 vs wii? those 2 consoles are not targeting the same type of gamers. wii is targeting as much kids as parents to have fun while the ps3 is for teenagers or young adults who like high-tech and serious gaming. wii is all about fun while ps3 and 360 are more serious.

Yeah, they really are. This whole "mature" thing has gone to people's heads. I think people need to open their eyes and look check out FUN games. Check out the Wii guys. Don't listen to the guy's first post. Do the research yourselves...it really is an awesome console so far. Sony is giving us a million reasons NOT to buy PS3. Nintendo on the other hand has been fairly positive. Innovation is what us gamers need. Not gloomy "mature" realistic visuals.

I'm not saying a game can't have nice graphics. Shit, look at Super Mario Galaxy. The game is Xbox360 quality. Am I complaining? Hell no. But you know what? If that game wasn't has good looking as it is...I would still be buying it because I know Nintendo is very dedicated to its fan base. Don't waste your money on a PS3, guys. $600 is so not worth it for a console. Give Nintendo a shot. I know you won't regret it.
