I thought Harry was wearing casual pants and a regular shirt?....Or are you referring to the actual Nazi uniform?

I guess Hitler hi-jacked the swastika and manipulated its' meaning to the point where we can no longer see it functioning in every-day society without automatically linking it to its sinister meaning... Quite unfortunate, considering its' true meaning.

But the Royal Family are a tourism tool. They are here to bring many visitors from abroad especially wealthy Americans and Japanese. They are like Florida's DisneyWorld and Sunny Climate. They do not run the country, nor do they have any input on laws or decisions. We leave that to the idiot Tony Blair.
So Harry isn't a leader, nor will he ever need to be. He's just a rich, upperclass Baffoon.

She has the power that comes with money and status. As far as law making etc, we live in a "democracy" so the power is with "our" government.

I have read in-depth about the atrocities that occurred during WW2 and I am not about to deny just how horrific it was. All I'm saying is that one little swastika does not deserve to make front-page news all over the world!

Long before the swastika was adopted as Hitler's Nazi "logo" it had very different religious meanings... see this link here . Why was everybody so quick to assume that Harry's swastika had anything to do with Hitler or the Nazi's for that matter? Because that is what's controversial. THAT is what sells magazines, not religious symbology!

I stand by this opinion & suggest once again that you read up, or better yet, come & have you & your family live in Britain for a few hundred years & then get back to me.

This is part of the thing that gets on my nerves. This topic is just another in the long list of faux pas by the Royals who enjoy such lavish priveleges. I'm not gonig to repeat everything I've said in this thread but there are so many things that irk me regarding the British monarchy that when people, who are not affected by these bloodsuckers, make comments as if what occured was nothing, I get a little pissed!

Maybe I do need to chill out as, coming from ken (someone's who's constantly being told to go easy with the seriousness), I must be ready to explode!


Then again, maybe some people need to understand that it's difficult for them to empathize with me here & so should think a bit more before brushing off another piece of a jigsaw of misery so lightly.....

Just so you dont start assuming my life or that of my family both my parents are British citizens who moved to Australia - In other words my entire family is from England. Once again "junior" try and let others have their own opinions on things

Once again 'granny', you ain't here & neither are your parents. They may've been, but then again, my relatives can be traced back to Ireland & I would never try to claim knowledge of how the peace deals are going over an Irishman. Why? Because it's pretty damn obvious I couldn't know as much about the situation as someone who is experiencing it first hand. (Unless of course I've done some major reading up which I haven't on Ireland, but, unlike yourself, have done on the Royal family).
