Premiership Thread

Larsson's a good deal. I think we should send Smithy out on loan for 3 months, let him get some match practice, then bring him back when Henke leaves. We'll have Rossi back soon too, and Solskjaer.

Bear in mind that Larsson is the man responsible for Barcelona's Champions League win.

What do you think of carrick? I think he is shit and a total waste of the stupid amount they paid for him!
You, madam, are very wrong. Our midfield is so much stronger with Carrick than it was without him. The price was high, but that's because a) Spurs didn't want him to sell (and look at how their fortunes have changed withou him) b) he's English c) he has Premiership experience.

Carrick has been better this season than Essien was last season. He's settled in quicker, and he's going to improve.

I hope you are right - i don't rate him at all. For me he really doesn't do anything.

I keep rowing with my boyfriend about him! He says he needs to settle in which i think is rubbish - he is used to playing in the premiership!

Yeahi agree with the smith thing - he is a good player but we did to have him match fit and get plenty of games in etc.

MMM true i had forgotten about that!!! (larsson)

Aside from that we are on fire at the moment - i really hope it stays this way or we improve even more.

I hope you are right about carrick - i would love for him to be shit hot :)

Larsson will join on a 10 month loan and will rejoin Helsinborgs in time for the new Swedish season.A great player imo and Man Utd supporters should be happy with this.Even at 35 he can still do a job for ye.A player i admire alot.A model professional.

Nah, he's a good player, A lot of the work he does goes unoticed. His vision is as good as Rooney's in my opinion and he has the ability to deliver that killer through ball, he is one of the best passers in the game when he's on form. With him in the side Manchester United's passing is more fluid and efficient.
I think when he first came to Man Utd his confidence was shook slightly as there are great expectations for anyone who plays for us but he has settled in well and is improving.

My only worry is that he might struggle to adapt to the Premiership in such a short time. It's not the same as playing in Scotland, Spain or Holland.
But what does manu has to lose actually? Nothing, right? So I think it's a good move.

Great game tonight between Sheffield United and Villa.

Oh, and Alan Pardew's been sacked by West Ham. He's been linked with the Charlton job, and Curbishley's been linked with the Hammers job.
