Joey Barton wouldn't join Man Utd.

Mascharano, shocking West Ham dont give him a chance.

Carew to Newcastle, could happen...they need someone alongside Martins.

My thoughts:

* Blackburn's strike force are really on form. McCarthy looks a great signing, and I imagine they'll sign Nonda permanently too.
* Everton's Victor Anichebe looks a very good young player too.
* Chelsea drew with Fulham, and apparently were pretty lucky to do so. It's ridiculous how a club with so much money fall to pieces with the absence of two of their players.
* Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a legend. As loved as he is, I don't think any United fans really expected him to play as much as he has or score as much as he has.
* Cristiano Ronaldo IS the best player in the world right now. He's scoring goals, getting assists and playing out of his skin.
* Arsenal are a goal down against Sheffield United. Just goes to show how hot-and-cold Arsenal can be.

* lol @ Martins penalty shot today
* Mascharano hopefully will move to Juventus instead of rotting at West Ham.
* C. Ronaldo may be doing excellent, but he's still an economic girly man.

anyone interessed in him?^^^
I wouldn't be surprised to see a few teams make a bid. Reading are ninth in the table though, so any move would essentially likely be a step down.

Manchester United were - somewhat dubiously - linked with him before the season even started.

He is a very good player. He is all action and is a good finisher as well. This guy was playing League of Ireland football only 3 years ago.

Stephen Hunt isnt a bad player either. He should get a call up for Ireland. He is better than some of the shit that get regular call ups.

My thoughts about Chelsea so far:

- Big mistake for bringing in Ballack and Shevchenko. They don't feet in this team imo. They don't seem to used to speedy games.I was sure Shevchenko would have problem adjusting but i wasn't sure about Ballack.I don't understand why they had to bring in these players to begin with? They were winning the way they were without them before. If it ain't broke, why fix it?I guess thats what they deserve for being greedy.

- Essien in my opinion is the best player right now.Better than Lampard too.Tierry went down and so Lampard should have picked it up and carried his team but he couldn't do it.He missed a lot crucial opportunities in last few matches.

- Ashley Cole is a great player but he is a prick. Its about time he starts taking some anger management classes. He cussing referee out verbally while chasing the forward with the ball.He is a left back version of Garry Neville.Actually, Neville should pass his torch to Ashley now as his time has come.Ashley.... isn't that something you would call to a hot chick?

- And i find it funny, how before Jose Mourinho would shake hands with opponent coaches after the match and run away quick as if he was late on a date, but now he hugs and shakes and hugs again so much even with the sideline referees and assistant coaches of opponent teams and/or anybody that will get on his way.

They have premier league to take care of first and than Champions League.

I knew bringing in these two already established big name players into Chelsea team would create problems. It happens a lot in different sports.Chelsea had won previous two or three EPL with ''ordinary'' players so to speak. They didn't have big name players until they made them or brought (Ballack and Shevchenko).Crespo,Duff,Ghudjonson all these players were no name players that they won EPL with and than everybody knew them. Why mess with success?

Are u serious.Duff was excellent at Blackburn before he moved to Chelsea.Everyone knew him back then and how good he was.Ive known Duff to be a good player since watching him play at underage level for Ireland.Gudjohnnsson is a very good player.Everyone acknowledges that since his first season at Chelsea. And you have to be joking about Crespo. He is one of the most famous soccer players in the world since long before he moved to Chelsea. He was well known as a good player in his time at River Plate and when he moved to Parma and subsequently on to Lazio and Inter.None of those players you named were nobodies before they played for Chelsea.Maybe to you they were.

Lmfao at saying Crespo is a no name player. He is still in the top 5 finishers in the world. And has always known to be a world class striker.

WHAT THE FUCK....have you just started being a footy fan like today or something?? those 3 players were by no means shape or form "no name players" when they joined Chelsea

In his defence, you can't compare the signings of Duff from Blackburn and Gudjohnsen from Bolton to the signings of Ballack from Bayern Munich and Shevchenko from AC Milan. The latter two are much bigger signings.

Why did i had a feeling somehow someway you guys was gonna jump on me like that saying wtf wtf?I know, its because i didn't explain myself better. What i meant to say and hoping you would assume that too is that they weren't world class top players like Zidane was,Ronaldo,Henry,Ronaldhinio, and even Shevchenko.(I know Crespo was famous and all but not as great as those above, but the most closest but still not as great.)They were all i wouldn't say mediocre but above average players imo.Remember we are talking about before Chelsea era.

Bobby Sands you from Ireland and telling me you were watching Duff play while growing up.Of course you'll have good things to say about him.He was probably famous in EPL before Chelsea but he wasn't worldwide like others i mentioned. So no i wouldn't say that i would have consider him world class top midfield player before he went to Chelsea.Same with Ghudjonson.
