Civilians dead in Israel is around 30, rest are soldiers. Israel killed 40 times more civilians then Hezbollah percentage wise. Israel killed 100 Hezbollah members, and 950 civilians.

So please next time you want to have a debate, get in touch with reality.

Although, 30 civilians dead is still a large amount of people, and I feel sorry for everyone of them that died, R.I.P for each and every one of them It’s a shame how many Israeli civilians died because of a decision their government made.

I'll always remember this war, when Hezbollah, fought the 4th strongest army in the world and embarrassed them. 150 tanks lost, 5 choppers, two battle ships, one F16 and almost 100 soldiers.

The last month: After unprovoked Hezbollah aggression, Israel attempts to flush Hezbollah out of the south of Lebanon, out of rocket range, in the hopes that Lebanon will enforce its sovereignty. Since Hezbollah uses human shields to protect itself, civilian casualties and civilian infrastructure bear the brunt of the damage.

Israel started it by allowing its troops to enter our soil....Israel had already planned to invade Lebanon...

Check the timeline.

Also, Israel had contingency plans to invade Lebanon if Hezbollah provoked them. Those are the types of contingency plans that have to be made when neighbors on two of their borders are openly fighting to murder all of them and destroy their state.

You're using Hezbollah's numbers. That was the only point I was making in that particular instance. You are also using Hezbollah's propaganda about hitting 2 ships (they've only hit 1, likely with help from Iran's Revolutionary Guardsmen), shooting down choppers (again, they've only hit 1) etc. I've said in this thread already that the likely number of Hezbollah killed was "well inbetween" Israel's and Hezbollah's numbers.

Also, accusing me of ignoring your debate about civilian casualties is ridiculous, because I've posted my thoughts about the civilian casualties a dozen times in this thread. Hezbollah is trying to ensure civilian casualties to force the world to contain Israel: thus, they've been using UNIFIL compounds, apartment buildings, and other civilian buildings as firing positions and places to store weapons caches. They openly admitted this to the UN Humanitarian Director, Jan Egeland. I'm not avoiding a debate on the casualty count, or the civilian casualty count.

The civilian casualties on both sides are, under international law, the fault of Hezbollah. I blame Hezbollah for the carnage. Most of you blame Israel for the carnage in Lebanon. It's a simple difference of opinion. For the most part, none of us are arguing over facts.

This is coming from someone who cites Nasrallah as an authoritative and objective source, and this is coming from someone, who when told that a Canadian UN observer emailed people about Hezbollah using the UN compound to fire from, simply made the arbitrary decision that the email never existed.
