Israel appeared to have struck the site (U.N. observer post) deliberately.

but refused to apologize for it because they blamed Hezbollah
This is one of those times, where "sonned" doesn't even cut it.

Quotes before i post the video

"Israel is deeply sorry, we are deeply saddened by these images, by this attack, by this result"

Now let me show you Israel not apologizing.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=w6fn5NZ6LBk

LOL, sure looked like an apology there buddy.

As for the rest of your reply, I will get to it later on at night I'm busy now. Have a good time watching Israel not apologize

Like I've already said, Israel said it was an accident and a mistake and blamed Hezbollah for it. That's exactly what this spokeswoman does in the video. She makes it clear that despite Qana their tactics wouldn't change and they'd continue to target Hezbollah in civilian zones.

You're arguing over semantics.

WOW...just a BIG WOW...

Your ignorance is truly apparent. Your reply just now showed me how ignorant you are and blinded by lies. WHAT THE HELL do you mean "like i said" implying that even after watching that video, you believe they did not apologize, why the HELL are you still saying that

"Israel is deeply sorry"

What part of that do you not understand are you mentally challenged? You are telling me ‘IS DEEPLY SORRY’ does not imply an apology. Your imbecilic, irrelevant, nonsensical, obtuse and POINTLESS replies are only weighed by the amount of idiocy you so proudly obtain.

I don't even know how to make a come back, she said ‘DEEPLY SORRY’, they APOLOGIZED, she speaks for the government, what the hell are you talking about.

Hezbollah fired missiles before the kidnappings. That was a diversion meant to make the ambush and kidnapping easier.
Is that so, show me proof, show me a news station broadcasting about it with an obvious time clock, then show me the same news station broadcasting later about the kidnapping and relating them, and I don't want no random guy speaking about it, I'll be waiting for your answer.

simply made the arbitrary decision that the email never existed.
Ofcourse I will make that decision and accusation, you’re telling me UN, one of the most powerful forces in the WORLD, saw Hezbollah militants using their post as a shield and did nothing but "email" someone. Are you seriously suggesting that? Even the reasoning is absurd. Be serious please.

A little quote

"according to UN secretary-general Kofi Annan, a deliberate air strike by Israeli forces. The attack has brought protests from Austria, Canada, China and Finland, who all lost citizens in the attack. Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has expressed his regret at the bombing, but has rejected allegations the attack was intentional. Foreign affairs editor Peter Cave reports from Beirut.

PETER CAVE, FOREIGN AFFAIRS EDITOR: After hours of shelling with increasingly frantic messages going backwards and forwards between the UN and Israel, a direct hit from an Israeli bomb obliterated the clearly marked UN hill-top observer post at Khiam."

Kofi Annan personally said the air strikes were deliberate! UN called Israeli forces 9 times, yes, 9times to warn them they are getting too close. Again, wow.

I love you man, I love you like Morris loves lies and pancakes.

Gimme a hug Morry! :horny:

You are saying that Israel apologized and called it a mistake. Israel isn't intentionally targeting civilians, so everytime noncombatants are killed by their strikes they're sorry. I said that Israel called it an unfortunate accident but blamed Hezbollah firing from Qana for it, and that they would continue to target them in residential zones.

Why are we even discussing or debating this? I honestly have no idea.

Is that so, show me proof, show me a news station broadcasting about it with an obvious time clock, then show me the same news station broadcasting later about the kidnapping and relating them, and I don't want no random guy speaking about it, I'll be waiting for your answer.
This is well known news, but here you go: ( http://newsblaze.com/story/20060712230710nnnn.nb/topstory.html )

Hezbollah carried out the assault while conducting massive rocket and mortar shell attacks on IDF positions and Israeli villages. The other four Israeli soldiers who died were killed when their tank drove over a land mine. In the Israeli border town of Shtula, six people were wounded when a rocket hit a house, according to Magen David Adom, Israel's first-aid and disaster relief organization. [7] Israeli officials ordered residents of Israeli towns on the Lebanese border to take cover in underground bomb shelters. Additionaly, thousands of reservists are expected to be called to duty. [8]
If that's not good enough, would you believe the words of Kofi Annan? ( http://daccessdds.un.org/doc/UNDOC/GEN/N06/437/22/IMG/N0643722.pdf?OpenElement ):

The crisis started when, around 9 am local time, Hizbollah launched several rockets from Lebanese territory across the withdrawal line
you’re telling me UN, one of the most powerful forces in the WORLD, saw Hezbollah militants using their post as a shield and did nothing but "email" someone.
The observers in that compound post were unarmed. And notice the word observer. UNIFIL has 2,000 observers on the border. To maintain their neutrality, they engage neither side. In the most famous case, Hezbollah operated so closely to a UNIFIL compound that a UN videocamera caught a Hezbollah ambush on Israeli soldiers on videotape. Again, this stuff is well known, but since you won't believe me, I'll link you to the words of Kofi Annan ( http://daccessdds.un.org/doc/UNDOC/GEN/N06/437/22/IMG/N0643722.pdf?OpenElement ):

According to UNIFIL press releases, there have been dozens of such incidents of UN posts coming under fire during the 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict. In his 21 July 2006 report about the UNIFIL activities 21 January-18 July 2006, the UN Secretary-General stated that "Some Hezbollah positions remained in close proximity to United Nations positions, especially in the Hula area, posing a significant security risk to United Nations personnel and equipment."
But hey, if you can wish away an email out of existence, why not the UN Secretary General's Report too? ;)

So you’re telling me I need to believe what you are claiming because you got it from a site I never heard of lol. Wow.

The links still don't open but from the quotes you are pasting, you are proving nothing to me, I want evidence, you didn't prove the rockets, you pasted a link of a site I never heard of expecting me to believe it. I don't care what UN says, even if they are observers, they left them for 9days doing nothing but emailing about it. If they can't do anything, believe me the US would've made it public and took some drastic measures.

As for the apology, nice attempt to salvage yourself, but the fact remains, you got owned beyond reason, and Israel DID apologize, which is what we were debating mainly, if the apology took place, stop trying to get off on technicalities lol.

Good day.

I pasted you a UN site with Annan's report from July 21. You can access the report here: http://www.un.org/Docs/journal/asp/ws.asp?m=S/2006/560

I don't care what UN says, even if they are observers, they left them for 9days doing nothing but emailing about it. If they can't do anything, believe me the US would've made it public and took some drastic measures.
You don't seem to understand UNIFIL's role along the border. They were unarmed observers who were not there to engage Hezbollah or disarm them. They were simply along the border to report border violations. And besides, the observers there wouldn't be motivated or skilled enough to combat Hezbollah in the first place.

If you're not willing to believe the news reports, Kofi Annan's reports, or the UN observers on the ground along the border, then obviously nothing any of us say will convince you. Your insistence on simply wishing away these things or calling them frauds is remarkable.

The truth is that Hezbollah has used UNIFIL as human shields for years. On more than one example Hezbollah fire has injured UNIFIL personnel during the last month. ( http://www.un.org/Depts/dpko/missions/unifil/pr08.pdf ) ( http://www.un.org/Depts/dpko/missions/unifil/pr09.pdf ) But since the UNIFIL personnel isn't firing back and there wasn't a bigger deal made of these incidents, then they must not have happened, even if the UN says so.

One of the more hilarious things in this thread is that Stash and Tru Principle are just as bad or even worse in what they accuse Morris off (blinded views, ignorance etc).

Never in the history of my huge testicles have I ever, ever seen such a stubborn debate. It's fucking hilarious. The amount of non-give-in-ness on even 1 page is already gargantuan, let alone in this whole thread.

I mean, seriously. Morris and me don't always agree (far from it), but the way you two clowns try to approach him and this subject is just....hair raising. Truly. The constant fallacies, inconsistencies, simple ignoring of one's arguments, simple dismissal of one's arguments and again the constant belittling has nothing at all to do with a mature debate about a political issue.

In the end, the "debate" just reflects the real world and how everyone involved is handling the situation for years now.
Heh, yeah, in many ways it does. One would hope people over a messageboard could be a little more freethinking but hey, idle hope I guess.
