There are those scientific reasons - disease. Don't buy that? Well, the rectum is considered a filthy place, just strictly for defecation. That's all u need, bottom line. Which is y it's unacceptable in Islam - anythin filthy is considered unacceptable. Eatin a rat is considered filthy, even if it don't hav no disease - same thing. Wanna hav anal sex? Go ahead, ain't nobody stoppin u - to sum of us anal sex is silly.


Music: Music is debated n type of music. Sum say all music is sin, sum say sum is, etc. One thing, it's not a large issue, we believe there r sins of different levels, n let's assume for a minute listenin to music is a sin, it's on a lower level. Even if it is a sin, listenin to music won't make sumone a bad Muslim. It's not an enforceable sin (assumin it is a sin) where ppl can punish u, it's ur own personal self discipline thing. Plus, ppl act like sinnin in Islam is end of tha world. Sinnin is expected, God doesn't shun those who sin, he wants those who sin to try to become better (for those who hold faith in Islam).

Ok so let's assume that not all music is a sin, just sum. Tha kind that wastes space n time n all that. So, y'all got tha nerve to come on a hip hop site n hate on rap songs that talk bout women n money, but Muslims believe it's not good to listen to it, n u hate on em? NICE ONE SMART GUYS. Like I said, music wit a bad message would b considered a sin or ones that rn't beneficial - u can't hate on that, u hate on that kind of music urself! Plus, music DOES sway emotions, which is talked bout in Islam, which is y alot of music is LOOKED DOWN upon (u can argue if it's a sin or not). That's y u got em emo kids cryin in tthey room or satanist rockers buildin up more aggression of music. Unncessary sway of emotion from music is tha reason "bad" (totally subjective) music is looked down upon.

N tru, Islam is life n a lifestyle, but it is also very flexible. WE hav alot of grey areasbecuz God givs us reason n mind, so we use our reason n mind to do wats right.

N so wat if sumtin is a sin? Sins r canceeled out by good deeds, in Islam, n also, not all sins r enforceable by others, most rn't. It's between u n God. Do wat u want, in Islam. It's just ur own report card.

I listend to all kinds of music. Honestly, I found no benifit whatsoever. All I gained was how to be ganster, thugged-out, and curse a lot.

Whereas, I gained a lot from rap music. I learned how to be gangster, thugged-out, and how to curse a lot.

But it's the same with Christians, people. Serious, non-Catholic Christians. At least in the US. All they think they should listen to is gospel music. Music praising God. And they got a point, same as Muslims. If you seriously believe in your religion, worldly music has no place in your life. Worldly music carries in it the spirit of the world. The world is the devil, and any music about the world will allow the devil into your spirit.

There is a lot of music in the Arab world. Saying that not listening to music is what produces extremist is a very blind judgment. Is music really a necessity in life? Are movies really that important?

I think so yes, especially in the case of Muslims. If you're not allowed to see western movies or listen to western music then a lot of these kids really have no idea what goes on in the west, then it becomes easy to plant ideas into their heads and strap bombs onto their chests.


This makes me lose a lot of respect for Islam; its nothing but a propoganda tactic. "The west is so evil you cant even see their movies to judge for yourself if this is true, trust us, its bad, we dont know, cause we havent seen them, but it must be bad."

It's a total Cold War tactic. We were never allowed to have western music or movies in Communist countries, and the west wasnt allowed to have Communist movies or music, this kept the people seperated and confused, and easy to mold and guide into hating one another.

Im suprised Islam allows the Internet; it does right?

Oral sex is looked at as foreplay. It's ok as long as no fluids, which are filthy, are ejected. It's a way to titillate each other.

It's deemed filthy by u. We're talkin bout wat God deems filthy. N anythin secreted n takin into a mouth is considered filthy. As long as nuthin is secreted into tha mouth, it isn't filthy in Islam.

thats nonsense, isnt it? anything filthy is unacceptable in islam, but if something isnt filthy you are still not allowed to eat it? (take your example of the rat) why is eating a rat considered filthy even though the rat isnt filthy? sry but i dont get it...
