Direct Download is the only way, its a bizillion times faster than ANY P2P software.

I was about to say wtf is that until i read casey's post.

i know that everyone (99.99%) has just found out about downloading from youtube. i knew about this years ago before any converters came out. and people are like "i download from youtube" (and in their minds think they are a bad man).

Youtube music is in shit quality, i can't even listen to it.

I was about to say this.

Use Google Blog Search and you'll find rapidshare/zshare/megaupload/sharebee links for ANYTHING you want within a few minutes.

Between that and torrents, there's nothing I'm unable to find.

To you people using P2P software - are you using 56k dialup modems also? Do you walk around with portable CD players? Does your cellphone look like this?

I mean seriously. Limewire? Ares? What fucking backwards ass planet are you guys on? IT'S TWO THOUSAND AND NINE. Have you been in a coma for 6 years?

And if you're downloading off rapidshare and shit don't they have limits to how much you can download? Fuck that I don't really care about speed, the average song off limewire takes 2 min or less. I'm not paying for download to go a minute faster, fuck I'm not paying period, thats why I'm downloading. I don't watch movies really so that part doesn't apply.

It's not about being a tech geek man, it's about not wasting time as well as decreasing your exposure to viruses and malware (P2P networks are full of them).

I don't pay for Rapidshare either. You don't need to because there are so many better alternatives.

There's just no reason to use something like Limewire any more.

Direct downloads for me too. Just add site:mediafire.com (or rapidshare, or megaupload, or whatever) to your search.

i use limewire pro, or i convert video files from sites like youtube into mp3 format using a free online media converter: Media Converter - the fastest free online audio and video converter then transfer the tracks onto my itunes :thumb:

Cool, i'm gonna try that shit out. I was under the impression all those sites required membership for unlimited downloading.
