Every day on my way to work I drive by a little pond. Now in the summer time this pond is full of geese and sometimes they cross the road. It is common courtesy for people to stop their cars and let them cross unmolested. So about a week ago I'm driving to work and a mother goose is crossing with 5 or 6 baby geese, naturally I stop to let them cross. It doesn't take long to let them cross, maybe 30 seconds, a minute tops but some asshole comes bombing down the other side of the street and just drives right through two baby geese. He didn't even slow down, try to stop or anything. It was probably the most cold hearted assholish thing I've seen.
