Just a bunch of hot air? A lot of people hate Apple. I hate Facebook. I use the services, but the cliched privacy issues, the constant downtime, and just how shittily it's built where there are bugs galore and people still use this shit and are addicted to it like crack.

Harping more on Facebook, the iOS version has the chat in the native app. What happened to Android?

Well, before that they had some other privileges. They were canceled and that's why they chose to replace them with a salary increase. Also it seems like employees would rather get more money than Google shares and some other premiums that they used to receive.

Just start off with some cool apps. Have a browse of the Market and see what's what. If you have any close family/friends with Android make sure you get them on Gtalk and Latitude.

If you really want to maximise it's awesomeness you should root it and flash a custom ROM. But you should get to grips with it as it is before you jump into that pool.

Yeah, he was messing around with an "unknown" phone, which is rumored to have been the Nexus S.

I think GB will be out before year's end. He may have mentioned it, but I doubt it'll get pushed over to early next year. The season to buy is the Holidays so it makes sense to release a phone in the December 10-20 timeframe. Of course, the N1 gets it first and we'll have ports to other devices. Wonder when the DX gets the official one.
