Bad heart. Medication over the years made it worse. He'd been rehearsing last few days for the tour and probably exhausted what was left of his heart.

my brother was telling me earlier that he took an over dose which led to heart failure. I havent seen this any where else though. dunno where he got that from.

But seriously, my homegirl told me this earlier and i called it bullshit. Few minutes later i found out it was true. Very sad day for music today.
