thinking of buying an mp3 player. my current one is only 1gb lol. now i know its pretty obvious that ipod prolly wins in every category or is at the least more popular.

what i want to know is your experiences with it and reliability and which model you have

like the touch vs the classic. ive used both and altho the touch is extremely more "kewler" the classic comes with almost 4 times the space as the biggest touch so does the kewl factor out weigh the capacity factor

and also i remember b4 my vacation kami and diaz saying there mom had bought them ipods on credit. but i was wondeing was it credit thru apple which would be tight if i qualified or would it just be with the use of a CC?

also some one wth personal knowledge of the zune help me out. i have yet to meet anyone who has used it

well frog my man, can't speak on the zune never had one or used one. As far as ipod vs. ipod touch my personal choice is the class ipod. Sure the touch has a lot of cool extras and apps but what it boils down to for me is capacity. I have the 120g and not only can I fit all of my music on it but I have plenty of left over space for storage. I use it as a portable hard drive.

Zune supports more video formats (including WMV), menus are prettier and the flickpad > touch wheel. Also Zune has Wifi Syncing, so you don't even need to connect it via USB to add music :D

I have a Zune but I dont use it as my G1 does everything I need.

If your only priority is to load it with tons and tons of music I would say the classic gives you more for you more.

I love my touch. You can't look up pron on the classic...I'm just saying :noworry: if you wanted to do something like that.

I had the nano in the car bc it's easier to use the controls without looking at the screen. With the touch that's impossible. That and you can't hit the touch screen with nails...it doesn't respond. Since my nails are longish I have to type with my knuckle which is a pain in the ass. I'm sure you won't have that problem  hopefully...

The last Ipod i got was one of the first Ipod video ones that came out a few years ago. i hardly ever use it. waste of money imo.

Iriver > all :)
I don't know about Zune but Irivers (not counting those low-end shittier ones) are way superior to Ipods.

Iriver does shit on everyone. Masta is right.

My bro has a Zune and I have an Ipod, and I prefer the Zune just a bit more.

I have that big clonky Itouch, I'm thinking about selling it and just getting a smaller 8 gig Zune or something.

What the fuck does someone do with 200 gigs? Like serious to any of us here have 200 gigs of music, or are gonna sync 200 gigs worth of movies onto your ipod?

What a waste really lol. Only time I need 200 gigs is when I'm installing a PC game that will allow me to rot my brain in glory of bullets and shotgun shells for a few months. lol

its good for pack rats that dont ever delete anything. I probably have about 70Gb of music and 150 Gb of movies alone...
If you're gonna use with your home cinema system (as a movie/music player) or something like that.. it might be worth it

Well.. I dont know whats going on around since Im from Bazil
but i purchased an iRiver Clix a couple of years ago and it works just perfect (knoc knoc knoc)

4gb
very intuitive and the battery lasts just fine for my needs... I use it mostly on my car.
supports a lot of video formats, sounds really good and I like its design.
I recomend it... iRiver

I like the creative zen vision:M myself. Also, I'm sure the touch is sweet because I have an iphone and love it. Working out using the pandora app owns all.

and it stopped working rigth after warranty
i had zune for many years
1st generation 30 gb
dropped it like million times
and still works

Im with you on this matter.

^Well I have a 80 gig classic ipod but I also use it as portable storage and it comes in handy a lot of times. That is what I would use 200 gigs for.

To be honest I had a 1gb Creative nano plus - it was one of the smallest mp3s back in the days AND had an enormous (for those times) capacity of 1gb. While it might sound strange I still use it sometimes because of its small size and somehow 1gb is a lot to me. Guys, it's a lot of hours of music. I sometimes remove a song and add another one.

Except that I bought a 8gb card for my mobile phone and it's good enough for me, I never managed to use more than 4gb though. If you have a good Sony Ericsson or Apple phone it means that its integrated mp3 player is probably superior to many mp3 players on the market right now since they use basically the same audio chips as in these companies above-average mp3 players.
