I hate it. I'm really, really lazy at times.
I have exams tomorrow. It's 3:48 am and I'm studying since 2am. I had a whole week to do so but I was being lazy instead. The whole week I was thinking about studying, I even spent whole days with open book in front of me but still after reading a page I decided to do something else. Now I know that it's already too late to learn anything.
I don't know but I can't force myself to do something untill it's already too late. At that time my efficiency rises by 3000% just to read a minimum to have any idea of something and while I won't pass an exam at least I won't give away a blank paper.
That sucks.

Sounds like you guys are taking shit you don't care about

I'm lazy when it comes to the theory side of work. I have a certain amount of theory I have to do in order to pass second year of my apprenticeship, and I haven't started most of it.
I even payed a friend $100 just to do a few drawings for me. I find it really hard to get motivated when theirs no money involved.

Oh yeah. I initially added an extra paragraph to my post that I removed, where I said, some things you have to do. If your girlfriend is being a whiney bitch you have to be the bigger man. If your kid shits himself you have to change his diapers, and you gotta work with something. From there to whatever it is you choose to do with your life, you have a lot of options to improve the quality of your life by doing things that excite (excite was a bad word, let's say "stimulate" instead) you, as much and often as possible. But you're absolutely right :p Balance is important. If nothing's shitty, nothing's gonna be good either.

If you can face the consequences of being lazy when it comes to school work, then by all means do yo thang patna.

I couldn't. Trust me Masta, in the future when you look back, being lazy with school is probably among the biggest mistakes you will ever make in your life. I don't have "the one that got away" but if I did, maybe that would be a comparable mistake. Or killing my own children and surviving in a car accident. Not that I think that will change anything with you, just my sentiment.

yeah I already know that. Some time in the middle of my high school I started to care about school more and when I graduated I was super proud of myself, happy with my final exam results and thought that if I failed it would be the biggest mistake I could do at that part of my life.
But it wasn't easy before that.
Now it sucks because there are 2 or 3 subjects I suck so much at that I hate doing them and whenever I start to study I get bored fast and would rather do anything else. It also seems to me that spending 1 evening studying it is nothing compared to what I have to learn. I barely see any progress and that's probably the worst thing. It's much better to have my target closer, easier to reach. Then I can spend much more time studying and my efficiency is also much better.
Being lazy especially sucks in technical studies. When I see nerds studying 15 hours/day on their free days for a whole semester it depresses me.

I probably failed an exam today but was shocked that I did some harder tasks 100% good :) Everything is possible.

yeah I'm well aware of that but most students suffer from procrastination.
I don't think it's easy to heal in other way than forcing myself to study earlier. Which is not easy.

procrastination is fine if you give lots of thought to it beforehand, it's good to get it all into your head first before you put it down on paper, but you run the risk rushing it towards the end
