She stole a car. I think more kids should have some sense smacked/kicked/punched into them.
Haha why do i get the feeling you like real rough sex?

If theres any beating to be dished out it's be the child's parents or custodians. Not as brutal as this by a police officer while already detained. That's ridiculous and if you cant see THAT, then you have a problem.
Thank you. And lol.

If the parents aint doing shit then someone else has to step in. The cops response was rough but maybe next time she will think twice about stealing cars and throwing her shoes at cops.
You are right though, i do have a Problem...with idiots like this little girl who steal shit and cant handle when they get caught. Its what she gets.

I don't agree with the cop's handling of the situation but for some reason, I don't empathize with what happened to her.
Exactly what I was going to say, we're like all connected in the mind and shit.
This is an actual question, not nit-picking. Shouldn't "empathize" be "sympathize"?
^^^YES plz tell his a.ss!!! I remember having this discussion wayyyy back in the day about mr. I-was-in-honors-english.
Anyway I'm just not surprised about this is all.
Do you two not know what the word empathize means? I expected better from you, Chronic.

Is that what I told you keco, or the opposite?
Isn't empathy the ability to understand someone's feelings and sympathy actually feeling sorry for someone?
empathy the ability to understand another person's feelings, experience etc.
sympathy the feeling of being sorry for sb
Judging by your reply the dictionary explanation might not cut it though. Tell me more
EDIT: I'm more confused after your edit. Quit toying with my emotions!

I do...you DON'T :amuse:
You said the opposite...you said your honors english teacher told you that's how it was and I told you that she/he was stupid.
On Friday, my Honors English teacher explained the difference to me and the rest of the class. I don't remember the example well, but here it is in a nut-shell. She described how it must be hard for young, black teenagers to grow up and become something of themselves in today's society, with all of these tests and statistics proving how most of them will end up in jail or dead. Now, she said she can empathize with the black teenagers, because she can understand their situation and she can understand how it is to be in their shoes. However, she can't sympathize because she wasn't actually in their shoes and felt what they are feeling. Basically, to empathize is to understand, sympathize is to actually have felt it or went through the same situation. We can all empathize with how it was to live through the hurricane in NO, but how many of us can sympathize? How many of us went through something similar?
If you got any kids or plan to have any, you better raise em' to be angels got-damnit. Cuz if they act up while I'm on duty, I'm gonna beat tha shit outta those bastardz. I'ma bash their heads into tha wall, slang em across the cell, punch em while their down and leave em needin medical attention. And just maybe, that'll teach em to respect authority.
Listen man, there are grown azz people out there who commit worser crimez, talkin shit to tha cops, and their punishments are still left up to the judge. Those cops are still without a justified cause to assault that 15 year old like that. Back-talking and a whipped shoe? Get over it, throw tha shoe back across the cell and lock the door. Anger management and more than a year is what them pigs shoulda gotten.
And for tha sake of avoiding an argument from some uneducated and "trust in the law" members, I'm not gonna speak on race being involved too, which has being from Oscar Grant and all the way back
