Fight between Morgan Creek film company and Amaru for 2pac movie

^^^^ thats a good question......... Did Morgan Creek have the rights to Live 2 Tell???? Seems that i remember that whatever company was making Live 2 Tell also was making the tupac biopic.... So maybe they had some confusion on what rights they actually owned??? this just delays both movies if that is the case

Live 2 Tell, lmao, that's just a myth. We've heard about this for the past 6 yrs and nothing has happened. I believe it when i see it.

i am just happy with the Ressurection Documentary alone, that beats any made for TV bio movie picture. i dont want them to tarnish it with a movie version.

the fact that tupac tells you his story by his own words makes the strongest connection with the audience,.

i love that documentary never get tired of it.

I used to think the same way until I realised too many voice clips were edited and put together. This results in 2pac saying things he never actually said.

Classic example: 'when I was on deathrow, I was succesful but not happy'. Thats totally edited. Just watch the documentary while you are wearing headphones your perception might change.

However, I love Ressurection coz of the ton's of footage and interview segments.

On a final note, 'live 2 tell' should be out in 2010. Believe it or not, the movie is in a production phase right now.

But his mom knew him best, wouldn't she know he was not happy? (and everyone knew he was successful).

^^Thats a really good point Shadows. However, Its a fine line she's walking.

I've read a really long article about 2pac's final days on deathrow. He once asked a question about his unpaid finances and a brand new Rolls was sent to him. QD3 said 2pac was following up with Suge about payment for production credits. He was killed before the payments were made. 2pac knew things weren't going right on death row, even when he was in Vegas and Suge took long to show up. I would deduce from these few cases that he wasnt happy on deathrow.........at some point.

Afeni determined 2pac would say '50', 'G-unit' or 'Em on the mother f!@#$%g boards' on his records. Was she 100% certain thats what he wanted his music to be? If she did, then she has every right to put that statement in his documentary.

Heck...she may as well come out and flip the 'black president' statement in changes. Simply coz he told her confidentially, 'forget what I said on the song, America is ready for a black president' :D

I was disappointed at a few of those edits in Resurrection

and the DVD menu "You're gonna know why I did it" 4:03.

The records where they not only edited but had him doing shout outs probably remain the strangest...

At some point, Pac WAS unhappy on deathrow. Thats one reason why he didn't want the Outlawz to sign with them. And Frank Alexander, I remember, heard an argument between Pac and Suge about splittin ways and stuff. Even though Pac never said it in an actually interview, it wasn't hard to tell he was unhappy at some point
