the pill suppresses female biology, the reason for their over-active emotional behaviour each month is because of the natural need to reproduce. taking drugs that disturb the menstrual cycle inhibits the females behaviour each month (pmt), girls that take the pill dont get pmt, so pay attention to why your girl has raging hormones each month, if she doesn't ... something is interfering

EPA have found traces of chemicals from birth control pills to anti-depressants in rivers and streams. They're finding male fish with eggs etc, so it's probably fucking shit up but we don't really know if that's harmful to humans. I think the issue is wider than 'your girlfriends mood' or 'your sex habit'. That said, just go to some of the less developed countries and you see pink foul water from factories being drained into rivers, so The Pill might be less of a priority. Above all though, is that, I think people rely too much on pills that they don't really need.

Carmi, condoms stop pregnancy too, its not like the Pill is the only thing.

Honestly, every girl I met has some side effect; whether it be:

Weight gain/ Weight loss,
Unusual sex drive,
Mood swings,
Acne...etc...


My girl lost weight, got hormonal, and got heat flashes with the pills...and that was AFTER she got new ones that supposedly had less side effects and weren't as strong.

Although, it did regulate her period.

I rather just chill for a bit. Maybe try this thing called Mirena...only heard one negative thing. Unusual Bleeding, but only by one woman.

I know it gots the same side effects as the pill, but women i know that had side effects on the pill didnt with Mirena...and its less of a hassle to use, i would think.

There's different types of pills. If the one your gf has doesn't suit her, she can try another type.

Personally I had a weight gain and sometimes I get real moody.

And I know condoms exist as well. But when a relationship is not brand new why use them? I personally do not like them. So since the pill is another alternative I'd rather use that than condoms.

I agree but you really don't have to go 2 a less developed country! There is so much bs we do to our environment, it seems hypocritical 2 use the effects the pill has on fishes against it.

Yea, the US contributes to a whole lot of pollution and waste but when you're looking at more developed countries, there are more organization doing research and preventing ill effects, you might not find that kind of luxury in other countries.

As far as pills go, the only argument against rubber that I've seen is "condom doesn't feel good" which is not a solid argument in my opinion when you consider the possible side effects the pill may have on you and the environment. Chances of condom breakage is low and it can easily be prevented with proper use.

It's too quick to call the pill great.
