Da-Funk used it in an offensive way that broadly disrespected and singled out a specific race of people. His joke was "what do oranges and *n-word* have in common? They both hang from trees."

That is crossing the line, it wasnt just his use of the word.

I haven't read his Holocaust remarks but if you'd like to PM them to me or report his post I will take action.

That type of joke is not welcome in any civilized environment, from the classroom to the workforce to anywhere in public. He wouldnt stand in a shopping mall and scream it out in public because he knows that it is inappropriate, and if he did he would get his ass kicked, and if he continued he would be asked to leave by security for offending other patrons.

Therefore it has no place here and similar repercussions need to occur and they have. While I cant kick his ass, I can ban him for a week and hope he learns his lesson.

lame example. ofcourse you wouldnt yell out a racist joke in a shopping mall. it's different when you're with a couple of friends and you're just fucking around. it's not meant in malicious ways, it's meant in jest. and most of the jokes are run off from the stereotypes that exist. so really, you're devaluing those stereotypes when you use them as the basis of your jokes - meaning that you know it's not supposed to be taken seriously.

stop being so politically correct. this forum reminds me of the same people who want "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" to be renamed to "Snow White and the Vertically Challenged People" to not be offensive to dwarves. come on man, be fair here.

This forum is not like joking with your friends in PRIVATE. This forum is not PRIVATE. It is a public place, the jokes are seen by the public and they effect the reputation of the site.

See Dilla, a lot (not all) of the things you post, are against the guidelines. The way you bash members whilst thinking you're being funny, is really funny, only a few times.

Yeah, everyone gets a quick laugh and you get a bunch of "Lol", "lmaos", reps and thank you's. I know that must feel good to be able to make members react like that. So you try and re-create it by bashing someone else with words. But then time after time, it gets really old.

Then when it gets old, it gets annoying. Its like when someone in class sits on a whoopie cushion for the first time, its hilarious, inappropriate but, hilarious. But if its repeated over and over and over again, it gets really, really annoying/retarded and quite lame.
