Absolutely shocking decision to send off Fletcher, can't believe something like that cannot be appealed. I'm gutted for him he's been immense this year. Uefa sucks some serious balls sometimes.

In fact, the only players i rate highly at Arsenal are Fabregas and Arshavin. Their players have no balls whatsoever. Liverpool should have beaten 5-1 two weeks ago. that would have been a fair result based on how liverpool dominated that game.

Fletcher didn't play in the final last season. He was a unused sub.
Also, Nasri is a very good player and today he actually was the most determined player, Van Persie on his day is also very good. Arsenal do play attractive football, but they fucked up by selling Hleb and Flamini.
Also this is why I think Walcott isn't that good, he may develop into a good player but his game is so one dimensional, he has awesome pace thats about it and stick close to him and he will do fuck all.

No real leader stands out. If Wenger got 1 or 2 experienced players, then I would consider Arsenal to be a fighter for first place, but for the time being, they'll always be 3rd or 4th.

Atletico Madrid have put Diego Forlan up for sale because of their financial problems. They released Maniche today as well.
Football is going to shit imo. At the present time their are about 4 clubs capable of winning the champions league. no Italian team is good enough. There is one team in Spain good enough. Real Madrid are very poor now. Bayern Munich are well off the pace as well. There isnt a hope for Dutch or French clubs not to mention Eastern European side. There was a time when clubs from these countries had a chance and could be competitive. Now its just 4 or 5 clubs way out ahead of everyone else. it sucks imo

^^the funny thing is that a club like Man Utd are 700 million in debt and can still pay big money for players every year. Its only a matter of time before there is a financial meltdown in English football.
