Lots of oil is transported through Georgia, in particular, two major pipelines that supply the West go through it. But, I don't expect you to know this, conservative and obama-bashing blogs don't report that kind of stuff.
i believe i saw it mentioned in one of the reports about your mother country of russia going to war. but the point was why do you think that this will drive up oil prices? the pipelines haven't been affected yet have they? wouldn't this news shoot up the oil prices today instead of them falling below 114?
