this decade is a bad time for hollywood movies,.

its all Rip offs from forren films ,sequels and reboots of old movies.

its terrible, even the 80s with all its cheesy action movies was still more original then this bullshit.

im lookin forward to this.. this movie will explore Jason as a child up to the time he drowned in the lake. curious to see what the story will Be. what kind of person Pam Voorhees was

this movies gonna leak early, i sense it even though it comes out Feb 13th, 2009.

HELL FUCKING YEAH!!!

I'm a massive Jason fan. I have a dedicated shelf on one of my cabinets that holds all 11 Friday The 13th movies.

I can't wait for this.

Jason doesn't run. Jason should never, EVER run. that's a crucial mistake on the filmmaker's part. it seems like such a little, nitpicky type of thing, but to me it would be like if in the new Batman series they decided to give Batman the power to fly (without that glider). part of what made Jason who he was was that he didn't run, he was never in a hurry to catch his victims, but he still always caught them. and never mind all that. i just think Halloween 2007 and i think that's enough to make me stay away from this movie. i'm a crazy Jason fan, i own all the movies and a little Jason action figure collection, but i can't jump on board with this one.

Devious Jason USED to run, he ran in parts 2-4. When he became Zombie Jason he just chilled.

oh and since Rob Zombie is nowhere near this, I feel I have nothing to fear.

naw man, he may have moved a bit faster, like powerwalking and shit, but he didn't run. i just don't like remakes for the most part. i hated the TCM remake, and since this is coming from the same team, i have serious doubts already.

so is this actually gonna be a remake, or a reboot, or a sequel, or what...???

im not thinking that this will be a remake, which explains the cop and the new girl.

from what i understand that this will start from the beginning when Jason was a little boy right up to the time he drowns. and go into detail what kind of person Mrs Voorhees was..(somethin like Norman Bates and his mom from Psycho)

this movie is gonna explain how Jason gets the Hockey mask for the first time and he is suppose to wear the bag on his head like he did in pt 2.

a prequel and like another part in the timeline that happens between 2, 3, and 4
