spawn was a movie, maybe not blockbuster hit but it gets replayed on network television over here. it was also a cartoon show on hbo, a very big hit in the comic book world and had a huge success in the toy market

I think you have to give him more credit for that than you are though, it is not that easy to branch out and develop successful business ventures. If it was Suge would have done it, Jay would have been as successful, Irv, etc etc. Not even Russel Simmons has really been as successful outside of Hip-Hop as Puffy has.
