an event that changed your life

The day I discovered fire.

Nowadays I have hair growing in funny places because of fire. lolll

I have a scar on my middle finger that reminds me of the time when I was melting plastic behind an abandoned warehouse.

Oh, fire.

I think green fire is so cool!

Fire.

The first time I toured in India and headlined the MTV Style Awards, then I looked out of the window of the presidential suite we were in and could see all the homeless people everywhere. (Mumbai is the most densely populated city in the world).

I had to stop and think about that one. It hit me pretty hard.

So either this is made up or you didnt think hard enough.

How else do you explain bragging about having more money than other people?

Well, it's not made up, since many people on this forum have seen the video of us headlining the MTV Awards in India.

And obviously MTV would put us up in the presidential suite of the finest hotel in the city - companies like that don't spare any expense.

Since I didn't pay for it - how the hell am i bragging about having money? Dumbass.

It's obvious you are foreign because you completely missed the point of what I said. So let me break it down in simple terms for you.

I am the son of an Indian immigrant who came to the UK with her family in search of a better life, and went through a lot of shit in the process, like most immigrant families.

I return to the country of my forefathers as a succesful musician signed to a major label and headlining a big awards show.

As I look out of my hotel window and see the working class folks there that weren't lucky enough to be able to leave the country in search of opportunities back in the early to mid 1900's, I wonder what my life would have been like had they not been able to leave India in the first place.

I realise how fortunate I am and how thankful I am to my family for working hard to build us up from nothing so that we would have more opportunities than they did.

I then pledge to not take things for granted anymore.

DO YOU GET IT NOW??????

Fucking idiot.

Im sorry but you are the one who completely missed the point i was trying to make.

I absolutely understood what you were saying, you on the other hand just didnt get the "bragging about money" part.

You say you are thankful and everything about you making it to the point that you are now, in comparison to those people in india....IF thats the case, then why do you make retarded comments like you have done plenty in the past (here on the board) about having so much more money than other members bla bla (im quite sure you will deny these comments)??

Well in that case, you should have said 'In the past, you have bragged about....'

Anyway, when I have said shit like that before, it's been light-hearted and not meant to be taken seriously.

If you seriously think I would brag about having more money than another.....you clearly don't know a thing about me.
