And this bitch still won't go away. Hillary pisses me the fuck off. If she is his VP, from what I read before I doubt she will be, but if, I don't know what I'll do come November. Probably not vote at all like I did last time.
Puffy still doesnt believe Obama is going to be the next president?
it has nothing to do with what i believe. i think it is possible, this is has been an election season where nothing has been predictable, but what most people do not understand about the general election is that the president is not decided by who wins the most votes (the popular vote), where other elections like representatives, senators, and governors are. it is decided by who wins the electoral college votes. so far every politcal analyst that i have read in regards to the electoral college says it is favoring mccain. it is just the simple truth. our constitution does not say that the people decide the president. it says the electoral college does. but like i said, this has not been a predictable election season.

i've always loved the electoral college. let's tell the citizens that every vote counts, how important it is for you to vote, but let's not tell them that their votes actually mean nothing. God bless America![]()
i think it is was actually 4 times in u.s. history the popular vote went to the person who did not win the electoral college vote, last time was in 2000. bush won both in '04. if obama does lose the electoral college in this election he think he will probably take the popular vote. and we could see more elections like that in the future.
the original design of the electoral college by the founders was to try and stop elections from being rigged and fraud elections in general (at least that is one of the more basic ideas of it that i have been told). when you look at it in that sense it is hard to argue that it doesn't work. although it is very confusing for people that don't understand the basics of it and i can see where it can get confusing and why there has been pushes to get the electoral college thrown out altogether.
but devious isn't too far off. if you don't live in a battleground state or a swing state does your vote really count? i am more than certain that my state will go to mccain so i have been wonder if there is any real point in me voting this year...
if you live in a state that always goes to a republican like most southern and mid-western states, or a democrat, like new york or other new england states, is there really much point in voting? your vote probably isn't going to make much of a difference.
Also, there was the whole thing about not believing the common people to make the right choice. In other words, it was believed they were too stupid to know who's a good candidate.
