This happens to me all the time. Why? Because my friends and I have a group dynamic where we just all do it some times and all of us shut up about it. It's easier that way. Me and my friends have this understanding that we all have lives, so we'll hang with each other but it can't be a burden. If I suddenly feel like doing something else than what I'm doing, I'm not gonna sit and bore myself for the sake of others. And since we all have this unique understanding that if any of us feel that way, we're allowed to give in to that feeling without having to worry that someone will feel pissed or hurt or betrayed.

My current life position gives me a few thoughts about this thread:
- It's not a big deal for me, so I can try to understand this situation but to me it's really not a big deal. Instead of saying that, I chose to not comment on the actual situation. Which brings me to point two:
- Carmi is a smart girl, she doesn't require my acknowledgment for her self-esteem. Before responding, I presumed she wasn't looking for self-reassurance.
- If I let what people say about me on here get to me, I would have killed myself years ago. Streethop peoples have generally never been very nice to Rizzles, because Rizzles is a pothead philosopher geek (who's also overweight). If I can live with myself under those conditions, so can surely Carmi.
- Most guys are in my boat. Which is why most guys just fucked around in this thread. I think the whole being dropped by a friend thing really is more of a girl thing. If you can't understand that, you're the asshole, I say

I can see how you would be upset but maybe you could have made more of an effort to have a good time while you were at the school. She probably had a lot of friends to catch up with.

Just tell her when you talk to her instead of ignoring her...bc that's not gonna fix it. She won't know what she did wrong and that's really no reason to break a friendship.
