Barry made a public statement stating his desire to play "champions league" football. meaning he wants to sign for a bumper pay deal.

i know what hes trying to say. that he wants to test himself in the champions league. but he cant say that the money is not a major contributing factor to his decision to leave.

besides, we dont have to sell him. he's under contract for more years. it would be bad business if we sell him for under £15m. would be great if we get £20m for him.

Realistic targets I want villa to get are:

James Milner (£12m), Steve Sidwell (£5m), David Bently (£15m), either Wayne Hennessy, Ben Foster or Carlo Cudicini.

We've been linked with Manchester United's £5m-rated Frazer Campbell. Dont know much about him. Is he any good? He must be for an U-18. But will he make it?

Wesley Sneijder, Thierry Henry, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Phillip Lahm, Gareth Barry (Next season having reconsidered and playing his best, with passion).

So what do you guys make of this prick Adeboyor? what a cardboard footballer. only thing he cares about is money. Arsenal should cash in and then buy Santa Cruz of Blackburn for 10 million. That would be the bargain of the century because Santa Cruz is a better player. I read that Barca might get rid of Eto'o so they can have Adeboyor instead. Are they mental?

I read today that Ronaldinho has rejected Man City even though they offered him twice as much as AC Milan were prepared to pay him.

Sampdoria are favorites to sign Juventus midfielder Almiron. He flopped at Juve and spent the second half of last season on loan at Monaco. He is a good player though.

Liverpool are close to signing Palmeiras keeper Diego Cavalieri. I remember he was considered a big prospect a few years back. He is 26 now.

I know alot of Arsenal fans who even durin the season didn't rate him, they used to moan about his lack of intelligence, his poor touch and how selfish he was.
