What do yall think of him? I was listening to "The Brick" again and I think he's hot. I think he's kind of in the same boat as Joe Budden as far as him not getting the publicity he needs. What do yall think?

I just heard that one song from him that was released about a year ago. I think it was called "Hip Hop" or something and it was great.

I don't resonate with anything he says. He's not entertaining, doesn't say anything really interesting, vocal tone isn't unique, etc.

I don't look at a rapper and think "Oh, look, he's saying how much he loves hip hop and how he's bringing the "real" hip hop back and tell myself, "OK, I should like this guy."

Same with Papoose.

I never got into Papoose, lol. Anyone else think it was funny how in his Fat Joe diss, he's dissing dude then just breaks out in some lyrical shit? lol. As far as Joell Ortiz goes, i've always liked him. He's not one of my favorite rappers or anything though. Like I said, he's nothing incredible, but he's better than alot of the rappers you hear now.

One of the reasons I like him is because I can relate to the things he says.

Nobody is saying anything interesting.

Joel Ortiz's charisma is charming the least to say. He is one of few who I can watch and listen. Unlike rest of them who just clown and waste time.

Yea you do.

But its so dope, you can see the shit in him he is bringing, you cant help but to embrace it. But it would be weird to pump this for someone like me whos not Latino. Plus, someone like me who lives in Brooklyn would be somewhat odd.
