You fail to see Euth's side in this. I take my job, whichever job it is, very seriously. I take pride in being serious about my work, and being professional. I manage to do it very well too.

The fact that this girl didn't foresee these consequences tells me she was not so much a person that takes pride in her professionalism, because no matter how you twist and turn it, this was rather unprofessional. Technically, joking around on the workplace could be called unprofessional. Having a private conversation on the phone on the workplace is unprofessional. Dressing sloppily is unprofessional. Some times you just have to answer your phone because it could be what stand between you and pussy that night, some times you don't have your finest shirt pressed and gotta go with another one, and people often mess around at work because it's a healthy environment to work in. A person who takes all this into account and tries to always be as professional as possible in any given situation will never make outrageous jokes like the "jokes" this girl came with. Wow, were they funnies btw. Doodie! So let's agree that maybe Euth is a person who takes a job more serious than the average man, while she was the kind of person on a crusade to make the world a brighter place with her out-of-place take-you-on-the-spot jokes. I'm a little mixture of both. I can some times say things that sound completely out of the blue and "radical". I often get comments that i recognize and observe the most unthinkable things in everything. As a result, a lot of the things I'll say to a person, be it opinions or random thoughts, might be similarly "awkward". Since I appreciate professionalism, I reserve myself though. The workplace in particular is a place where professionalism should rule, where jokes are second hand to lighten up the mood and build team and so forth. But this girl didn't have the professionalism down. She didn't even introduce herself with her name, to her co-worker. How fucking unprofessional is that?

She was either biologically reatarded, as in an actual flaw in her gene pool or a "manufacturing error", or just socially retarded. Maybe her mother smoked crack. With respects to Euth reporting her, had he not he would have to deal with this crazy doodie lady every day. The people who suggest she was kidding are most likely wrong and Euth is right in challenging them to do the same. I think you shouldn't utter another argument against Euth until you have done what he challenged you to do, actually. Just for the sake of the argument. Your assumptions that she was kidding have been shot down by Euth saying she was definitely not kidding. He doesn't sound like a social retard, does he? All I'm freaking saying is that, even legally, she can't be fired for one offense, so at first I thought that it was ridiculous to ask his employer to get her fired. She has to have repeated offenses of the same action thats prohibited in the firm.

Now, I really doubt that getting her fired would have solved the problem because she could have been a real asset to the firm (this is a supposition...).

If I was Euphanasia, I would have personally talked to her and told her that he felt uncomfortable and that it also affected the employers around him and her. If she adapted her actions and her personality to the environement of the company, there would have been no problems anymore and she could have worked nicely with Euphanasia because, hell I'm guessing, she would have had some sort of mentor in the company.

My guess is that she just tried to make some friends at her first day and she just didn't know how.

Bitching about it to his boss, to me, was not the best way to do that. I'm a firm believer that, when you manage a working place, everybody deserves a second chance.

I also think that it's weird and it sucks that your employer didn't even take the time to present the girl to her future fellow employees. Human ressources is the most important part of a boss/manager and I honestly think that your boss, Euph didn't do his job properly (from what I'm understanding from your posts).

See, this is a viewpoint I agree with sort of. With that said, I still don't see any problems with the way Euthanasia handled it. Had he had the time to think it through the way you thought it through, maybe he would have done what you suggested. He didn't though, and no matter what, I don't think the situation calls for Euthanasia to receive criticism for what he did. You have no business staring at people's ass and making comments about how it's wet and how it looks like you shat yourself. Furthermore, you have no business inquiring about what color somebody's hair is in their sensitive areas. Suggesting how he could have handled the situation better is constructive criticism, but judging him and making accusations because he didn't find the most ideal solution for everyone to his problem is wrong. She was the offender, not him. See, whatever I do and wherever I go I try to cause as little shit as possible. Had she done the same she wouldn't have created this uncomfortable situation at all. There are other, better ways to get to know people. Like "Hi, I'm Lindsay" "Hi, I'm Euthanasia, nice to meet you." "You too. So, I guess we work together" "<insert flirt>", etc.

Why should we accept a cry for attention? Because it's so commonplace in today's emo world? It displays weak character, something no corporation wants. Like I said, if the woman realized what she was doing and knew the potential consequences of what could happen before she made the remarks she did, she never would have. On the other hand, if an adult person has failed so miserable at life that they haven't come to the conclusion that this is unacceptable behavior in a workplace like most people, this would be the only way for her to learn. Euthanasia taught her a life lesson.

Also, I know quite a bit about social phobia. Trust me when I say that feces is NOT an ice breaker in any way what so ever. It is the product of digested food, it's disgusting, and instinctively, nobody likes it when other people meddle in their doodiework.

I just want to address these three points so everyone is clear about what happened:

1. I never asked my employer to get her fired. Actually, I never asked my employer to do anything except listen to what I had to say. I left it to him to take the action he felt was appropriate.

2. Although she was relatively new, it was not her first day. She had been employed at least a couple of weeks.

3. You wouldn't believe the scumbags who can make themselves appear appealing during interviews.
