didnt xp catch the same flak vista is right now?? maybe not the same problems, but it was just as problematic... now everyone sucks xp's dick... "ooohh, i love xp, im not switching"

fuck them.. vista works fine for me.. internet, games, movies, music... all i do, and it does it great... never crashed, froze, etc..

maybe bill gates is a perfectionist and there was still things he wanted to improve but they had to release it and so hes still irritated by the problems

i have windows xp on my computer and vista on my sisters. and let me say, id rather have vista. it runs smoother, granted this computer has more ram, a better cpu, and a faster hard drive(its brand new). but vista seems to use its ram better than xp does. it also looks better. i love the sidebar and the start search menu. it makes things easier for me. xp is good still, but vista is definitely ahead. some people wont like it right away. it was the same with xp when it came out. shit wasnt working and people didnt like it. a couple years later and look what happened, its pretty much the most popular os. the same thing is going to happen to vista.

I have vista on my notebook and i've had no problems with it at all. But I didn't have Vista when it first game out when it might've been more problematic.

When I was in Seattle, I used my mums laptop that was running Vista, I had that laptop permantly on for the 2 weeks even when I wasn't using it, I played Team Fortress 2 on it most nights, no need to reset or anything.

My parents keeps there desktops running, my step dad has had his Vista PC running for over 3 months since his last reset. I cant even keep my XP machine running for 12 hours.

I've used both xp and vista on my laptop.. i've liked both of them.. i had to switch back to xp since vista was just a trial..


i like vista as well.. just need the right hardware and you will be good to go.
