Hey guys I know this has been discussed but I just wanted to express how under rated this album was. This album had a true Pac feel to it, granted their were a number of tracks on it that Pac did originally but still this album had a great deal of potential. I think if they had acapellas and a better title rather than the cheap generic title "nu mixxx" this album could have done well with proper marketing which appears to be a no no with Amaru.

On the downside, because this album went un-noticed they basically threw away "Don't Stop" and "Initiated" which have not appeared on any Pac albums. Does anyone have any ideas if the acapella for "initiated" and "Dont Stop" was stolen or allowed by Amaru.

On number of bomb tracks on this album including Don't Stop, Dead Or Alive, Initiated, Rearview, Lost Souls........ I can't stop playing the album. It just amazes me the production on some tracks and then you have some tracks like Got My MInd Made Up which had glaring problems.

PS: instead of hating and dropping non sense, lets try to have a healthy conversation so we can all provoke some thought and conversation and keep this board going.

I didn't know you were talking about Nu Mixx Klassicz 2 until i read half way thru your post. Part 2 was a fuckin joke! Aside from the Pain remix that was only an ITunes exclusive, i thought the album was complete trash! Hail Mary is complete utter shit and a fuckin disgrace to Pac's legacy for them even releasing that piece of shit! Picture Me Rollin is a joke, besides them using a shitty loop (i've recreated the beat and it sounded exactly like retail, why couldn't they?) the chorus seems outta place. Whatz Ya Phone # i actually like the beat but then the shitty bitchez come on.....The original Got My Mind Made Up that was first previewed on MrMak was gonna be tight with Daz on it but i dont know wtf caused them to cut and paste Daz's verse into Initiated. Im not even gonna bother going thru the whole thing. The album was pretty much crap! Part 1 of Nu Mixx however was actually good and they actually remixed the songs! Never Had A Friend Like Me is a straight fuckin classic that some people even consider better than the og. If i had to choose between Nu Mixx 1 and 2, i'd go for Part 1 for the songs actually being remixed and actually sounding good.

agree fully: UNDERRATED! Vol 2 was a masterpiece because of leaving some songs almost OG, just a little refreshment. Hail Mary, was ruined, tho, no doubt, I admit

Vol 1 was maybe a little more experimental, but had its moments, too.

When they simply just loop the instrumental (an instrumental that can easily be recreated by people on the fuckin internet) and a crappy loop to begin with. And then just add a new chorus and some new artists. I dont really consider it a new fuckin album i consider it a fuckin MIXTAPE! It's not hating when you get tired of all the bullshit that gets pulled by Amaru and how even though they always seem to put out "the same shit" they just sprinkle a little bit of piss on it and call it a new album!

numixx is a low rating album, i bought it just for the quality tho and for collection purposes...it couldve been better tho. instead of remixing the songs, i think they should've used the same samples and then made the beats accordingly..basically "re-sampling" the original songs...that wouldnt be a bad idea at all because people do like the originals, but having a new vibe to a song uve heard millions of times would bring something new to it..

about what dp said..nu mixx v.1 was pretty nice come to think of it..quality was great...(compared to nu mixx 2)..plus the remix were pretty decent...toss it up is a great remix...not to mention the outro on heartz of men which they never used on the retail alleyezonme album....the good thing about nu mixx one is that u can hear vocals that u couldnt hear as well...like the toss it up outro for example..u can hear clearly what Pac says about puffy..etc..

I thought the album was dope from the offset. I bumped it for several weeks non-stop when it first came out. Ye alot of kats shitted on it, but it showed to me they will never be satisfied (not even partially). Hail Mary was abit of a disaster granted ok. But the rest was dope cuz it mixed Pac's OG Style with the new shit. Its a shame it didnt sell as well as it should have.

For the record, i didnt think u were talking bout nu mixx vol.2 either until halfway down, cuz the first volume was shite !
