i don't know why anyone would believe stuff like this. i mean they are only in the planning stages for the next movie, if that. there is no script, so why would any actors other than the regulars of the series be on board? it's all wishful thinking at this point. i wouldn't believe any rumors that will come out about the next movie. not this early anyway.

In IMAX theatres you basically watch the movie in HUGE screen with crazy THX sound. Yes they play some movies in 3D but thats only on actual 3D movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D that comes out every halloween and shit. For regular movies it's just a whole lot tighter cause the screen is so fuckin huge and the sound is just incredible.

Great film, Ledger was unbelievable as The Joker. All the criticisms I'd heard (the voice, the running time etc.) I agree with, but they were outweighed by the good.

On the topic of the length, the film clearly was too long. There were too many set pieces really, but I don't know what scenes you could really cut without losing something. Even the fact that they killed off Two Face, who I was hoping would return for the third film, made sense.

i'm not totally sure they killed him off. they might have just had the ceremony for him to make it seemed like he died. so i don't know. if they did kill him off, that would suck.

well that is what some people seem to think, and since we never actually saw him in the casket, it can always be a possibility. however, it seemed as though Batman and Gordon thought he was dead, and Gordon being a cop, i'm sure he checked for signs of life. i'm pretty sure he's dead which is a shame cuz they could have done so much more with the character.

I wouldn't mind if he ends up being dead because I have some issues with his character. I don't believe the transition from the "white knight" to Two-Face was very good.

Agreed, they could have done SO MUCH MORE with him but at the same time what SOFI said is valid.

As much as I like The Dark Knight, I can't help but think it would have been a lot better if they'd gone with Michael Bay's script:

you cant really put logic into this movie, its a batman movie. anything is possible. i mean, a billionaire spoiled kid goes to ninja school, comes back, kills his sensai who was tryin to ruin the city, again, and now he is a full time vigilante putting all his money into new gadgets and partying to cover up his superhero identity.... and as for the whole signs of life, dude is burnt in half. u can see his bones. nobody would live thru that in the first place. logic is out the window in hollywood.
