Porsche Panamera, which is supposed to go against the Mercedes CLS. Aston Martin and BMW are both making similar cars for the "four-door coupe" segment.
Then it would just be like any of Porsche's other cars. They need to remove 2 doors.
It looks very out of proportion, especially using that classic Porsche shape. However, a lot of people buy the Mercedes CLS, so obviously there is a market for such a car, and Porsche wouldn't want to just let Mercedes own that segment. It looks almost too big. Something is out of proportion. Or maybe we just need to get used to a Porsche that's this big, really.
Agreed. Mercedes executed the idea very successfully. It's funny that this is in discussion, since last night a friend and I were talking about if we had won the lotto (since we're both poor), what are the three new cars we'd put in the three garage spots, and one of my choices was the CLS63 AMG, and he seemed to also want to get that too. I just hope that Porsche can be competitive while having the car start at a reasonable price.I know, man, but the CLS looks HAWT. This....well, doesn't.
Then it would just be like any of Porsche's other cars.
I'm poor. No job at the moment, living off of savings.^Poor? Then what'd ya use to buy that Evo? Beads? Porn? Sold your body for crack?
Ideal 3 car garage?
edit: i was gonna make a 3-car list but there's no way I'd be able to "just" select 3 cars.
What were your (and your mate's)other 2 choices?

I forgot to mention that we were going with brand new cars, otherwise a McLaren F1 LM would've been on my list... which is in your color, orange.Interesting....but quite economical...i mean, theyre expensive cars but not house-expensive (save the fezza, maybe).
If I had to pick 3 cars for always....money no objection, it would sorta boil down to this...
1.) An expertly designed (Foose maybe) old American coupe/roadster. I've been googling for old models but couldn't really find anything. I'd be looking for one of those sleek, low fluent cars. Like "Impression" but different. Anyway, you get the point.
2.) Mclaren F1 - Still an icon with top notch performance. I love the uncompromising looks, the mid-seat arrangement, the engine, the abilities. I'll have one in orange. And I'll have a big dutch flag and a football painted on it every time there's a footy tournament.
3.) I don't know! I'm thinking about an A8 or other big luxo saloon with an immense diesel engine. Like that A8 6 liter or so W12 diesel they had? Hilarity. Everyday driver ftw. Maybe tune it a bit and you're beating 911's in a 2000 kg car with a diesel. HA!
