Nas Albums. Put 'em in order.

I was thinking about this yesterday. I think most people will have close to the same arrangement actually. What I want you all to do is look at the list of Nas' albums and then put them in order from your favorite to least favorite. If you aren't familiar with one or more, make your list, then leave the ones you aren't familiar with underneath it.

Also, with Nas's new album, it will be 10 albums released. What do you think that says about him as an artist? Has he been consistent? Not compared to anyone else, just in general. Has he earned his spot as one of the best ever?

For me he is the best ever. Consistent, without a doubt. Over the head of many, easily. Nastradamus is still good.

I can not believe you or anyone would think Hip Hop is Dead is his worse album.

Yes, I did put IWW last. I think it's a highly over-rated album. Other than the singles and some remixes, I don't like the album. Nastradamus is not as bad as people make it out to be (don't get me wrong, there are a few horrific tracks on there, but it's aight). SD could've been higher on my list if it was perhaps a single disc.

Ok, I knew this was gonna come up in this thread.. so I was prepared for this.. lol. It Was Written is a GREAT album. Not as good as Illmatic (if you wanna compare.. I really don't though), but a great album. FAR from over-rated. It's filled with good/great songs. Some of Nas's best songs are on there. It's his second best album behind Illmatic imo. Stillmatic comes in 3rd for me. There's alot of good songs on that too. Anyone who says they only like Illmatic and Stillmatic are fucking nuts. No offense Sofi, you just happened to post that.. lol. It's crazy to me how people can "not care" about other Nas albums, ESPECIALLY It Was Written. You gotta be insane to over-look that album. Christ.

Look at the It Was Written tracklist..

The Message <- One of my fav. Nas songs period. Maybe his best song.
Street Dreams <- Many people like this song. I prefer the remix, but it's a good song etiher way.
I Gave You Power <- Another one of his best songs. Everyone knows this one.
Watch Dem Niggas <- Dope song. Not one of the best on the album though.
Take It In Blood <- Dope song.
Nas Is Coming <- Another one of the good Nas songs.
Affirmative Action <- Ridiculous song. And you know thisssss, mannnnn.
The Set Up <- Dope song.
Black Girl Lost <- Dope song.
Suspect <- Good song. May be my least favorite on the album. But it's far from bad. So..
Shootouts <- Not quite one of his BEST songs, but not far from it. He kills this one.
Live Nigga Rap <- This song is DOPE! Nas kills it. Dope collab with Mobb Deep.
If I Ruled The World <- Another one of Nas's better songs.

I don't understand how people over-look all this. It's crazy to me.
