On the other hand you don't that he's wrong. If you use logic then the only conclusion you can come to is that there's nothing after death, just like there's nothing before life.

so if the brain is out, the body is out, emotions no longer exist for you, and whatever state of being alive you're left with can't be called an afterlife.

of course, i am open to speculation.

My answer is that the freckels aren't actually on your arm, they are on your skin. And freckles can appear anywhere on the skin. Does this satisfy your query?
