WOOOOOOW!! I'm even too excited to write about it.

We had a Japan week going on till today. It was so perfect to me that it's unbelievable. I went there by myself with sceptic attitude but then it turned out to be the best event ever. I've met and talked personally to so many people that were always big authorities to me, I've been reading about them etc.
Then at the end when most people left (martial arts presentation ended the event) for all those who wanted, there were "20 minutes" of training with all those people who performed (people probably thought they're not serious or were just too lazy and only about 15-20 people including me stayed to train with 70 people with 5-9Dan). So I got wristlocked by official Aikido president, Knocked down by Judo president few times and few Japanese judo champions and then trained with Karate-do Japanese representation and went out with Kendo team. One of those girls (7th Dan at age of 20 she is now, Japanese champion in 2006 from what I remember) gave me her address.
I've got shitloads of Pics from that event, most are in bad quality tho (I didn't expect it to be good so I took my phone only) but they'll remind me of that event forever.
I also got some nice stuff as presents.

Also chatted, got autographed and got few pics with known Manga artist who drew me a nice autograph :)

So yeah I said I'm too excited to write. I am. I just wrote those most important things that happened today. It was much more good stuff but yeah, I'm too excited to mention all. I just got home and I'm tired.

Thanks for reading :)

great to hear that you had a good time. you gonna meet with that chick?

Thank you :)
I'd love to but I've got to face reality - Probably not.
I've got one good friend from Japan already tho but I know it's far far away from here. I won't be there in next few years, she won't come here any soon. But I'm glad that I had some great time, a day I won't ever forget.

yeah show us pics. it seems like it was really awesome. are you practicing karate or something? i suppose you od since you are sooo excited about this.

I'm not practicing now because of lack of time but I love martial arts. There's one martial art I'd love to practice but we don't have any section of it here. Also I like asian culture and asian people but we don't have too many of them here except few vietnamese immigrants.

I'll post some pics as soon as I'll get them on my pc.
They're all from my mobile phone so they're in weak quality.

Untill that here's official pic with most Shorinji Kempo team members which was taken by security as a "good bye" photo.

you bet your ass. Martial arts hall of fame. Some of the greatest traditional martial artists + living legends in the same place at the same time.
The shortest girl standing in the last line was the one who gave me her address.

that's me in front of them. There was no place for me to sit closer so it looks a bit sucky sucky. That person who took it runned a digital zoom on me so you can't see that I'm sitting in the middle of all those people from the pic above. You can clearly tell from my face that I was.. happy.

I don't have much pics of myself, as I said I was there on my own so 99% of pics were taken by me so there's no me on them. Most of those pics with me were taken by random people like security or Japanese staff from my phone.

I'll post more better pics as soon as I'll have some more time.

------------

I trained Taekwondo, Ju-Jitsu, Aikido, Shidokan and few more.

The one I'd love to train is as I mentioned Japanese Shorinji Kempo.
It's not anything special nor well known for most people but it's just my favorite one. I like it because of sentiment and because I like their philosophy, techniques and innovations.
Now I want to practice it even more because of sentiment.
