If only I could wake up soon and hear some tangible Shenmue 3 news, I would be so happy.

All we know right now is Yu Suzuki said that Shenmue Online is not cancelled. He said that it's "pending" and that he will try hard to release it.

Except that there's a campaign at shenmuecampaign.org and Shenmue dojo. They are sending capsule toys to Sega and saving money for a Shenmue billboard in Tokyo.
Also, they had another campaign, they were collecting emails and sent one huge email to Yu Suzuki with short messages from people (more than 2000 took part from what I remember).
Shenmue fans are great. It's a game with the most awesome fanbase I can think of.

It's already out now I think.

It's not similar to oblivion. It's a different engine and less "elfish" story. I played Oblivion for a few minutes and disliked it while I find Fable 2 entertaining.

yeah it definately looked amazing compared to other games when it came out. Even my pc couldn't handle it. Fortunately enough many games that come out these days have amazing graphics.

yeah, I used to be a fan of Fallout but I don't like what they did to F3. I mean, it's a nice game but it's like a totally different thing and only the vibe is the same.

^^it seems to be similar in a lot of ways to Elder Scrolls iv-Oblivion but set at a different time period with different storyline obviously. The character models look the same. Bethesda made both games i think. I only played it for a short bit but im not impressed with the graphics.
