I'm going on a 3 day trip with my school and I have to take 1-2 good hip-hop burned cds. It'd be dope if you'd help me by upping some good tracks or at least telling what would be good. No 50 cent, Kanye west, Timbaland or anything like that. Preferably less known tracks, I wouldn't like people to be like: "oh that Nelly track was good in 2003, it's soo old man".
Just real hip-hop party, chillout or similar tracks I wouldn't be ashamed to play there. I'm mostly into deep raps and they just doesn't fit there.
Thanks in advance

If you want party like tracks, you want party like tracks that people know so they can dance to them and sing along, no?

It seems to me that you want to show off your hip hop knowledge by playing shit nobody knows.

People are more inclined to drink and dance and have a good time if they know the music. If you ever went to a foreign land and heard a rap song you know, you'd understand what I mean.

When it comes to party tracks, first you want to have everything that's current and hot. That should be dominant. But, you want to have a significant portion of classic tracks, too.

no it's not like that. My knowledge on hip-hop in probably not THAT big that's why I'm asking for help. Those are not tracks to dance, I need tracks just to drink, smoke, sometimes chill and have fun to. I want tracks that people hearing in the future would associate only with that trip. Also if I'd play "In tha club", "What you know about that", "Dilemma" etc. people would be like "oh this was popular back in 2003, it's soo old and it's soo uncool" etc. On the other hand I think 80s, 90s track would be good as it's considered "classic" and people would be glad to hear it.
Also there are people basing their hip-hop knowledge just on 50 cent and gunit. I don't want to be associated with one of those, I want to show how really good artists can do it.

Make sure you have Einstein-Tech n9ne on there. If that came on in a party i would go off my head.
could you up it? :D

ok I know I'm taking whole Redman's "Red gone while" album. It's got a sound exactly I'm looking for. I'll take one more good album plus one more compilation cd and it'll be dope.
