Hilarious video. CBS is great.

For those who don't get it, I advise transferring some of your resources to invest your personal human capital.

ahh...macro jokes.

I'd advise you to open a european bank account and convert your dollars...but maybe not right now since our dollar is doing so great...:)

Does he work for CBS?\

Isn't the US dollar worth more than the pound and the euro right now?

no.. pound is worth more than twice as much as the us dollar, euro is 1.5 us dollars. I remember like 3 years ago us dollar = euro.
Bad economy still makes us dollar go lower and lower

dope video btw.

The US dollar hit an all-time low against the Euro less than a week ago.

Currency exchange rates are real-time, they are not historical fact. In a low-level economics class, you learn all about them, what makes a currency appreciate, depreciate, etc but it's your responsibility to keep track of current events. You know damn well that you acquired this info regarding the US dollar online and/or on TV.

However, I don't think the US dollar was eeeeeeeever worth more than the pound or the Euro, lol so synful, what kind of business courses have you been taking? :)

I don't keep up with the exchange rate of the dollar in respect to the Euro and Pound on a daily basis. I"ve no need to.

Don't you think it's important to know you're country of residence has a puny currency? the USD has all ways been weaker than the GBP, and it gets weaker as time passes, a fews years back it was 1.3 USD to 1 GBP now its 2 USD to 1 GBP. I'm looking forward to it raising to 3 USD to 1 GBP, I'll do all my shopping on American sites then.

No, its called Education, in Europe, you learn about other coutries instead of dickriding our own.

Not really. I mean I have so much going on that I don't follow world relations as closely as I used to :( Now I feel bad, but then again, I look around me and I don't :p

I don't plan to live in the States too much longer anyway so though it doesn't matter much

Wrong! Which course have you been taking? - It started with something like 1$ = 0,80 €.

As a response to sofis comment this answer failed miserably.

Even more reason to keep up to date with what the US Dollar is doing. If you plan to move to a different country that does not have the US dollar, which is what you're suggesting by saying you wont be living in the US much longer and so the US currency doesnt matter to you, then you will need to convert you currency. And with the Dollar how it is now, you'll find yourself a whole lot poorer when you convert to Euros or Pounds or whatever.

And sorry, but stating that your nations currency does not apply to you or you do not care about it, or even that you dont know how poorly it is doing, is the silliest thing a semi-intellectual has ever stated on this board.

Seriously, Id be ashamed of myself if I made a comment like that.

Your currency and how strong it is against the other currencies impacts you on a daily basis, from your fuel prices, to food and interest rate prices. And considering you're buying a condo, which I assume you'll be taking a loan for, then yes, it does apply to you.

How anybody can think this isnt relative to their lives, especially someone who studies business at university, is totally beyond me.

I am shocked to be honest.

I meant it doesn't at this moment. Right now, today, tomorrow or even next year it doesn't matter to me because I have a lot going on with my own life that really doesn't involve the immediate need to know how the dollar relates to anything other than the gourde or the peso. Later on in the future it's sure to mean a lot and I'll probably pay a lot closer attention to it at that time.
