LMAO some dumb fuck gets tasered at a John Kerry event

Saw this yesterday. nothing funny about it. Just shows how much our liberty here to speak our mind and ask those whom WE hire/vote to represent us, is slowly being taken away. An no I dont blame Kerry the whole time he was saying there wasn't a problem an he would answer the question, I blame the current administration and their "Put your faith and blind trust in the government" policy. Shits real sad.

thank you, i have been collecting evidence for research on people with BDS.

liberties have nothing to do with this situation. the guy was not given a soap box to speak his mind. he was there to ask a question which he took forever to get too, when he was only given a small time frame to do so since there are so many people there who want to ask questions too. of course the senator is going to say he would like to respond. any smart senator would say that. it's taking the political high road.

having BDS is sad. lol i mean how can you blame an adminstration for this? i think you are a bit too paranoid.

BDS= Big Dick Syndrome? yeah sometimes its hard! lol what does the admin have to with this incident? Puff have you been living in a bubble? Lets see, warrant less search and seizures, wiretapping, held without charges or counsel all policies and enactments of this administration. Ok so now asking a elected official a long question authorizes arrest an tazering? Where the hell are we? Saudi Arabia? So what he asked a long question big fuck'n deal, Kerry several times while appearing a little annoyed said no big deal I will answer your question, next thing ya know dude is being drug off by the gestapo and tazered. Paranoia has nothing to do with it, my paranoia is of mindless fools who follow and never question the government or their agencies like lost sheep. The shit was uncalled for period.

Yeah, I can be an ass, I might even enjoy it. But, Kareem, you blame the current administration for something that has been happening well before you were born - what is behind it? Bush and Iraq. Keep living under the blanket provided by those actions. It ain't nothing new like you and many others make it out to be.

Nothing new? Never said it was new BUT it has gotten progressively worse. Wire tapping, Held without charge or counsel, the leaking of CIA operatives who do not agree with current administrations thinking, the list goes on. NO the suppression of someone speaking his mind isn't new, never said it was but it has gotten worse an that yes I blame the current Admin for.

if you read that artilce i posted and as a person who claims to be a law student or once was you should be able to see in the videos what he did that would warrent criminal charges and being arrested.

he was a guest to the speech being held. so he must abide by the rules the university gives him about asking questions. which he didn't. the univeristy people have every right to cut his mic and ask security to escort him out of the building. when he starts to fight with them then the charges start. before that he wouldn't have been charged just escorted out. he was asked repeatedly to ask his question but he kept on getting agitated and was acting in a manor that would alarm any police officer.

given the amount of people trying to cuff him and get him on the ground, the tasering might have been too much, but if you resist arrest you will probably get tasered. he decided to keep fighting and resisting arrest so the police will probably be found in their right to do what was they felt was needed to put him in custody.

lol you really need to do some research on into on the plamegate scandal. that is the biggest loud of crap the cia had put out to the media to push attention away from questions being asked about what the agency knew pre 9/11.

it was never even proven the adminstration leaked her identity. it went to a grand jury 3 times over 3 years of investigations, over 20 million in tax payer money and they could never prove it was the adminstration. that all spin by the media. we know who did. richard armitage and he was not a fan of the iraq war, not a fan of the adminstration, and he wasn't even apart of the adminstration.

Plame purgered herself in her testimony but i don't see her getting charges brought up against her.

My main issue is this, the tazing of that kid was uncalled for, he wasn't throwing punches, you can't subdue one average size guy with 5 cops? Then turn in your damn badge or go be a cross walk guard. My main beef is with people who act like sheep an believe everything told to them by the media or the government, or who have the Bill O'Reily complex "Oh you don't share my view then I will just call you names an cut you off".

The people who don't see or can't see how this government has become something that it was never intended to be, When Black Water a private government Merc company is contracted to patrol the streets of New Orleans its a problem, when the government can tap your phone without warrant its a problem, when they have you so in fear a fuck'n boogie man (Bin Laden an crew) that you put your blind trust in the government its a problem. We hire these people, we elect them, it is our right to question their motives and actions at any given time, we don;t work for them, they work for us.

it's funny because it could be said you are a sheep to the media based on some of the things you have said in this thread.

did you even read the NYT article about the NSA wiretaps? i mean really read all 9 pages not just the first page. sure the first page makes the claim the govt is listening in on americans but when you actually get deepe rinto the article you learn that the govt is actually listening to calls being made into the country from other countries where they suspect terrorist opperate out of. we all know that just because you live in american doesn't mean you are a citizen and that NYT article never even proved that one single american was actually being spied on. the aclu tried to bring a lawsuit against the govt over that article and it got thrown out. why? because they could not prove that one single american citizen was being spied on.

it's not fear of bin laden. it's about trying to stop another attack from happening. bin laden isn't even the big threat. al Qaeda is bigger than bin laden. jamaat ul-fuqra might evne be a bigger threat then al qaeda. the govt has stopped other attacks from happening since 9/11 some which he know about others which we probably don't.

Still am A law student, I don't study criminal law but it is touched on. This is partially why I rarely post here much anymore the damn god complex some of you have on this board. The plamegate scandal as you say which had nothing to do with the admin an was all media hype thats bs, that was the work of Cheney through Scooter Libby, funny how Bush commuted his sentence. I could go on with the scandals this administration has been involved in if you want me too.

Ok so like I said your telling me 5 police officers could not take down an average guy who was resisting yes but wasn't throwing punches? Wow they picked the wrong career then. Kerry didn't seem to have much of a problem with this kids questions, though he seemed a lil annoyed he said he would answer, before he could the kid was whisked away like he was making death threats.

i didnt say it was all media hype i said it was the working the cia to push attention away fromthem so the media would stop asking questions about what the cia knew pre 9/11. it's pretty obvious actually. i mean really, what is an ambassador(who just happens to be the husband of the person who works at the cia and set up his trip, which her boss and another person testified under oath that she did set it up) doing investingating another country? that makes no sense at all. novak said it was richard armitage who leaked her identity. libby was charged because he said one thing that wasn't the exact with something he said a year earlier. the plamegate scandal was a biggest which hunter of the decade.

like i said, it went to a grand jury 3 times. over 3 years of trials and investigations, over 20 millions dollars of tax payer money, all to try and get someone in the adminstration behind bars when the prosecutor knew from the early stages of the investigation who leaked the identity, and that person was richard armitage who has still never been charged for leaking her identity. yea, it was all big bad dick cheney

Ok so like I said your telling me 5 police officers could not take down an average guy who was resisting yes but wasn't throwing punches? Wow they picked the wrong career then. Kerry didn't seem to have much of a problem with this kids questions, though he seemed a lil annoyed he said he would answer, before he could the kid was whisked away like he was making death threats.
i think i have already addressed this, no point in saying the same thing over and over

GAINESVILLE - Police have released the incident report detailing the Tasering of a University of Florida student during a campus forum with Sen. John Kerry Monday, and the officer who actually Tasered Andrew Meyer wrote in the report that Meyer later told police, "You didn't do anything wrong."

In the 12-page report, which gives accounts of the incident from the perspective of eight different officers who were present Monday afternoon, Officer Nicole Mallo writes that Meyer would only resist officers when cameras were present.

"As (Meyer) was escorted down stairs (at the University Auditorium) with no cameras in sight, he remained quiet, but once the cameras made their way down stairs he started screaming and yelling again," Mallo wrote.

Mallo was one of two officers who actually rode in the vehicle as Meyer was escorted to the Alachua County jail, and she said said he told them during the ride: "I am not mad at you guys, you didn't do anything wrong, you were just trying to do your job," according to Mallo's account.

Mallo also wrote in her report that he asked, at one point, if cameras would be present at the jail.

The report details the events leading up to Meyer's arrest, saying that Meyer was in line to ask a question of Sen. Kerry when it was decided that no more questions would be allowed.

Meyer continued down the aisle toward Sen. Kerry angrily, according to police, saying he wanted the senator to answer his question because he had been waiting for two hours.

Though Sen. Kerry directed that Meyer be allowed to ask his question, police reported that Meyer did not ask any specific question and instead "badgered" the senator, and at one point said something about President Clinton being impeached over a sexual act.

At that point, police reported that ACCENT Director Max Tyroler turned off Meyer's microphone and asked police to escort him out of the auditorium, saying, "He had said enough," according to Officer Mallo's report.

Officers then proceeded to attempt to remove Meyer from the room, but when he resisted, they placed him on the ground and tried to handcuff him. The six officers who actually took part in holding Meyer down while he was being handcuffed reported that they were only able to get a handcuff on his right hand because he was squirming so much.

The supervising officer, Sgt. Eddie King, attempted to Taser Meyer on his chest, but he reported that his Taser would not deploy. He then instructed Mallo to Taser Meyer, and she Tasered him on his shoulder, according to one of the officer's report.

The officers were then able to fully handcuff Meyer and escort him from the building. Each of the six officers reported that Meyer yelled things like, "They're going to kill me," and, "They are giving me to the government," while he was being taken from the room.

If it wasn't for the taser this wouldn't even be getting talked about, way overblown. These cops should be fired, not cus they used the force they used but because they can't perform there job, the fuck at 5 of em not being able to handle dude. This shit is sad on all levels. The fact people would try to defend the guy when he was obviously being an ass is just stupid. The fact these cops had to use a taser and let it turn into the situation it did is embarrassing. Kerry is the only shining spot in this fiasco. His ability to continue, well try to continue, talking why'll someone is getting arrested then tasered is astounding.

what happend to understanding that disturbing the peace is against the law

this isn't even an issue of freedom of speech.

He wasn't disturbing the peace though.

"The unsettling of proper order by creating loud noise by fighting or conducting other unsocial behavior that upsets people."

He neither created a loud noise nor did he cause a fight or conduct other unsociable behavior, until AFTER he was attacked by the Police.

Taking too long to ask a question is not disturbing the peace.

The question and answer period was over yet he pushed his way to the front and kept making, in a loud voice, rude and lewd comments. Hardly a question in there and not letting Kerry respond to anything being said. That's unsociable behavior.

Says who?

And no, the question and answer wasnt over judging by the video. They asked people to ask questions, he did, Kerry even wanted to answer, and the Police arrested him.

That was not a fair arrest and they will no doubt get sued; and rightfully so.
