I said earlier in a thread about him I think he's gonna shock the world, so I was expectin something good. This is blowin me away. It makes you proud to be a fan of rap when you hear things like this, just to see someone use their oppurtunity to voice what they actually think is tight. Plus even when it aint on that type of shit its good

after giving this cd 2 complete listens i've come to the conclusion that the lack of explicit language sounds a little weird. i mean i know if you're that good you don't really need to use those words but in certain parts of the album it just sounds like he wrote it with the intent of using explicits and replaced the words with something not as effective. just my opinion what do you think?

I really enjoyed this, alot more than Curtis or Graduation. Fact that I didn't even notice he wasn't using explicit language alone and made some really good songs says something. Flat out my favorite song in the album is The Ultimate Victory, wouldn't even call that a song, more like an epilogue/outro.

BUY THIS ALBUM!

Cham is the shit and I will buy two copies of this album just to support a rapper actually doing something worthwhile.

Hard to describe. I listened to it on my lappy speakers and I thought the beats were so-so but my car system told me I was wrong. I thought he sounded the same on most tracks but he's still switching it up and his singing's growing on me... I think it's a good album with good singles that stand out. Cham grew. :thumb:

(i'll see you again in about two weeks)

Juts listened to the album and its an outstanding record. Its better than Curtis and Graduation IMO. For 19 tracks there isnt many straight out poor tracks. While 50's hooks are getting worse, Cham's are getting better, i think someone else here said he's the new Nate Dogg. I never thought "The Final Countdown" would ever work as a sample on a rap record, but damn, "Industry Groupie" grows on you. Other stand out tracks besides Hip-Hop Police and Evening News, which we already knew were tight, are "Pimp Mode", "The Bill Collecta", "The Morning News" and "You Must Be Crazy".

But "The Ultimate Victory" is a superb closing track to the album. The "Stuck in the Ghetto" skit is a tight short track as well.
