Turned Down Today

So my friend and I both got turned down by the same girl today. What actually happened was that we were both interested in her but we weren't aware that the other was interested. So a couple weeks ago my friend mentioned that he was going to make a move so I decided I would drop the whole idea because I'm not about to go after a girl that my friend likes. So he talked to this girl that they both knew at work (Shawna) and asked her to put in a good word for him. He tells me a couple days ago that Shawna brought his name up to her and she rolled her eyes. LOL. So I was like, ok well he has no chance in hell now so I'll go for it even though what happened to my friend didn't give me much hope. So I asked another girl I know (Heidi) to put in a good word for me and my friend found out about it and he was like, well i'm still going after her. He wasn't mad about it at all; he actually found it funny. And I was like, what the fuck? You just told me she rolled her eyes at the mention of your name? And he's like yeah well that doesn't mean anything. So I was like uh, clearly that's not a good sign you retard lol. So anyway, this girl Shawna walks up to me and my friend today and she's like, she's not interested in either one of you. So we're both like what the fuck? Is this girl that picky or are we that ugly? So we pretty much just laughed it off; we really didn't care too much and now the whole thing has kind of turned into a joke at work. A mutual friend of ours has an idea: he thinks we should walk up to her and be like, "don't even worry about it. we've found someone else" and then walk away holding hands. LOL:laugh:

That would be so gay but so funny.

Anyway, i really hate getting turned down though. It sucks ass.
