I've been posting on SH much more lately, especially in our block section, I read most threads and posts, I feel much more familiar with SH than I ever felt (I'm a member here since at least 2003 in past under various alliases) and I have to say I really like it here. I see there's much less trafic than it used to be before, there are much less newcomers - but that doesn't mean at all that it's bad.
People who stayed here now are really great, kind people. Everybody has his/her own life (no internet nerds like on other forums ) and I see people having really specific approach to this board. It was made a hip-hop board but most subjects mentioned are not even hip-hop related at all - it's rare on message boards. (people usually login to get some info or discuss forum related subjects).
I remember reading SH a year ago, people were arguing, the atmosfere wasn't as friendly as it's now and there were at least 20% active posters who made a lot of mess here. Now I feel like most moronic people left and it's a big pleasure to come home, sit on my chair, launch my pc and click on my bookmark no.1 - streethop.com and read latest posts, then click on "forums" and browse further.
No matter what is my problem, whatever I need I can post it in the right forum and sooner or later I'll get a smart response.
People were talking that SH is not what it used to be - personally I respect this board much more than I ever did. It's not that much going on here as it was back in the days but SH became something like a small quiet town where everybody know each other.
But enough of this intro speech, I made this thread to write my first impressions about people I got to know here. I won't write about everybody as I probably forgot about many but I'll just post my short impressions about my favorite posters/people I like the most and few random people that come to my mind.
So let me start:
First of all I have to mention Sigh - he was the first person who contacted me when I was actually nobody here, the first person who became my SH buddy and person from here I chat with most often. He's a great, kind guy.
Militant - Really nice person, as well as a talented musician. I really respect him for his personality, his work, that 2pac related project he did and for the thing that when he got some fame he remained a plain, good guy. One of my favorite posters here.
Tha_wood - He's a nice poster, I see he creates many interesting threads. I think he's a warm person with nice sense of humour.
Jokerman - some of his posts make me lmao, some are serious and wise. Whenever I see his post I know for some reason it'll be something interesting and worth reading, even when he posts about something I couldn't care less it turns out to have at least one good point.
Preach - I think we have a lot in common..
He creates long ass posts, but it's always a good read.
I think we share similar views, even if they differ sometimes I can always understand where is he coming from. He's got a good soul IMO
its linx! - the hip-hop head of the Streets section. He ImmortalTech and Bobby Sands posted some dope ass tracks in the streets section lately. Check them out
Sofi - Don't know him to well but from what I've seen whatever people say, he always claims the opposite - usually it's funny ;-)
Rahim - kind, helpful member.
Mr.Deuce - he types funnily which is a result of his Jamaican influences ;-)
except that he is one of the few 2pacboard visitors
Rukas - Whenever there was trouble/argument, Rukas came, and there was no trouble any more. Polish blood
Pittsey - Intelligent guy, always makes some good points, whenever I agree or disagree to what he says.
PurelyPac - Wise person. He can look at each matter from various positions and make a new point in discussion.
Zimbabwe - dropped some nice movies in "The screen" forum. Couldn't rep him for that
Big Easy - unfortunately all I know about him is that he's the underage girl's rapist and that his goal is to expose Sigh using his mysterious dr.evil-like sneaky tactics
Carmi - She's one day younger than me. She told me that I was born on Canada day
Synful_luv - I see her post in "Do for love" a lot. She, Carmi and Katie start interesting, sometimes controversial discussions there.
That is good of course.
Bank robber - I remember he was an active poster but doesn't post that much lately. Same with Edouble and few other guys whose nicks just don't come to my mind right now.
BeReal/Sebastian - not sure. Everybody say he's a Nazi from Germany, he claims it himself but I think he's not that bad. He's often fooling around with people.
Sicc -He usually sums things up with few words.
PuffnScruff, PrizeGotti, The Menace - Don't remember any specific things about them but I see they post a lot. Simply they are decent members imo

Hizzle? - Bosnia-Herzegovinian (spelled right?) gangsta. Jacks Czech tourists. Loves using obscure words like: "shit", "fuck", "dick" always adding suffix "-motherfucker" :-P
ThUg $TyLe - a 15k post guy but somehow I NEVER seen him post in the same thread that I did. I took a look in his past posts (yeah I'm a cheater) to search for something funny, as I clicked through the pages (about 15) I saw that he's just a normal decent poster! He doesn't rape young kids, he doesn't have any funny problems, most of his posts are in sport/games related forums! He wasn't even exposed!
edit: I haven't failed! He likes kebabs! I love kebabs, we posted in the same thread talking about kebabs. so I like him too

I think I could think about few more people but I'm too tired. It's 5am so I'll be going to sleep. Sorry if I forgot about somebody significant but I tried to mention everybody that came to my mind, I think I mentioned most important people to me in the first place. Sorry if I wrote something that's not correct but I just said in short how I see people I described so it's just my personal view.
