rob zombie did a good job here. he kept a good amount of the original story in this with some great detail on the backstory of how meyers came to be. pretty good movie. it opens this week so you all should go check it out.

and thank god for rob zombie bringing back the hot naked chicks in horror films. nice throw back to the 80's some real nice boobage in this film

Im going to watch it probably 2morrow. I skimmed through it real quick and i gotta agree with the fine naked bitchez part. Rob Zombie never seems to disappoint me with his films. I will post up a better review of it after i watch it completely.

Yea i just read up the info on the remake and i was about to edit my post. Turns out Jonathan Liebesman will be directing the remake . Who knows he did a pretty good job with Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning. So he might surprise us with the remake of Friday. New Line however has yet to officially put the movie up into actual filming and is going thru production hell so.....hopefully the movie actually gets off it's feet pretty soon.

Is it a remake of the first movie though? If so, it's not going to have Jason in it, until the very last minute. the first movie wasn't about jason and he wasn't the killer in it.

^^^that's right. and i think they should've kept it that way, and not continued the series with jason back from the dead. i think that would have made the first one MORE of a classic, rather than cheapening it.

i just watched this on bootleg and this movie is real good. Rob Zombie did a great job writing and directing it.

Zombie creates an entire different ending than in the OG. one story that never had an explanation in the OG, what happened to the Strodes on halloween night? **with this one you see what really happened**.

he kept the music as is. which was great. that was funny he made the girls out like Sluts. enjoyed the nudity especially Danielle Harris an her little perky tits :horny:

Michael is a fast walker in this film. the death scenes were sweet. im glad Rob didnt get far fetched with the story.

Malcolm Mcdowell did an excellent part as Dr Loomis. if not exact but just as good as Donald Pleasence

did anybody catch the cell phone Dr Loomis had?? that looked liked a Verizon chocolate phone. 1st of all wasnt cell phones created in the 1980's. what was a cell phone doing in 1978?

yeah jasons mom is the killer right? i got that trivia answer that from the movie scream...the guy that calls the first girl that gets killed..he gives her the exact answer to that after she gets it wrong i think lol
