giving other people directions.


just saying if your walking down the street and a car comes up to and ask you *excuse me do you know how to get to such and such place*. or asking you for directions for a certain road to get to their destination.

like wise when your driving another driver pulls up to you and ask you for directions.


me i am bad when it comes to directions. usually i give em some off the wall way on getting to their destination. and sometimes i say sorry i cant help you. when they drive away i feel bad

im preety bad as well. i cant tell my left from right so im telling them stuff like "yeh go up the end of the street and turn that way, then go up a few meteres n then turn that way" lol its pretty much useless

But if they ask me some street that i know of, i can give them great directions, and even tell them how to avoid the traffic and everything...

Im alright, I once iddnt know where the place was...so i made up some directions. Dunno where they wouldve ended up.

Obviously it depends on where you are and how familiar you are with the place. Road names and stuff like that don't stand out to me but landmarks tend to.

A lot of days I would say I was terrible. But I voted OK because yesterday in London I helped a guy find his way to Piccadilly Circus on the tube. I'm good with the tube map.

i hate when im driving while someone is telling me where to go and all they do is say things like "just keep going straight" and "its up here". whenever they do that i end up turning into some shopping plaza going 45 miles an hour because of short notice, and almost hitting a little kid on roller blades. its like WTF i know my way around why cant you just fuckn tell me the street name or what its next to jeez lol.
