Another installation due to my inability to sleep.

Streethop networking is cool, not my cup of tea, but nonetheless, a good idea. Along those lines, I'd like to speak of recent friend requests on MySpace. Prize Gotti I denied you. I refuse to add someone with no picture. This defeats the purpose of social networking. I am sorry. Katie, I am glad I added you as my only SH Facebook friend. You have the hottest legs. What is your tattoo of? Also, I'd probably enjoy hanging out with you a lot. You seem like a lot of fun.

Rukas I apologize for not getting back to you...yet. I often say I'll get on something and then it takes me much longer than it should. I've always been that way, and I'd blame that on laziness, but it's not that this time. I really have no time for anything the past 2 months. I am the manager of my job thus meaning I have to be the most available. I often work 12 hour days. I come home and sleep. In my only free time 2 days a week I like to go out. And I find little pockets here and there to post on the board. Don't hate me. For those unaware, me and Rukas are plotting a takeover.

SOFI, it's official, I will be in Washington for Thanksgiving so please arrange time to go to the club one night.

I'm not sure if I posted this before or I was just thinking it, but I was wondering if any of you have people you always wanted to talk to on the board, but you never have. I just find it kind of strange that some people have been around for so long that I'm cool with that I've never spoken to outside of the forum boundaries. hizzle? comes to mind, but that's okay--I really don't want to talk to you anyway :). Synful, I've been kind of interested in talking to you more and more the past while. Message me sometime on AIM: bigeasy45.

I think people should get off Militant's back for the things he posts in Our Block. Everyone claims his stories are some back door way of showing off (most recently the Wal Mart music thread). Who cares if he is or isn't? I think we all want to do that sometime, but you might not be as obvious about it. And it's freaking Our Block...you're supposed to do that here.

Speaking of Our Block, I am slowly shying away from it. There's nothing wrong with it. I love it. However, I want to take a more serious role on the board. I'll still be replying to threads, but there will be a lot less of my own threads. I just think that people think I'm obnoxious, annoying, or full of myself (or a combination of all 3). I'm not that way at all. And all jokes aside, internet feelings mean something to me:sad:. Also, I'm starting an official Streethop blog on here so I have to focus on that. Rukas, I hope it was okay to mention that?!

Carmi, hi. You are still cool and I like you. Hope things are well.

Fix the donation thing. I'm trying to give a donation and I can't. I don't have a paypal and I'm not setting one up so the paypal email is useless to me.

I am still trying to set a Streethop get together. This is not something I will allow to sit on the back burner. People on other continents can set up you're own. But for now, let's work on a North American one. There should either be 3 (East, Midwest, West) or just one big one in the midwest. It only makes sense to be the midwest, it's a central point for everyone. Someone mentioned St. Louis? I think that is a perfect location. Someone said Denver as well, right? Whatever, let's just get this thing rolling. I am so down to be the major planner for this, I just want to know who is interested.

I shall. I'll have like four days off from school for Thanksgiving. I'll work on getting a fake ID so that we can go drink and tip bartenders 200%. :D

Thanks man. I got your back. You're right that everyone wants to show off sometimes, I am definately guilty of doing it on occasion....but most of the time I'm actually not trying to boast.

As I was saying to someone the other day, the reason why a lot of people think musicians, especially professional ones, are arrogant is simply because we, just like everyone speak from our own personal experiences. The difference is that our experiences are always going to be related to that in some way especially since a professional music career takes over your whole life, there's no 2 ways about it.

I can't help it if 19 out of every 20 anecdotes I can give, or questions that I have, are somehow related to the music business because....that's what I do the vast majority of the time. Even when I go out to a club or a bar with my friends etc, those friends are artists, session musicians, DJ's, promoters, A&R's, entertainment journalists, radio and TV presenters.....I have very few friends not in the industry, people outside might consider that strange but it's not at all...everyone's friends are the people that they relate to in some way or another and share common interests with.

As for the people that think Easy is obnoxious and/or annoying, I would encourage all of those people to lighten up a little....there was a time when I would have said I found him annoying but then it dawned on me that I was taking everything a bit too seriously :thumb:

That's good that the blogs are returning in some form. Next up....VIP Arcade? :D

Yeah same thing really...I just laugh at what you say on the board, but never feel like adding you on a Messanger.
