Non-Urban Music ONE album

forgive me if this has been done before...i don't usually come to this part of the board.

what is ONE album that you can listen to whenever--you don't need to be "in the mood" or anything, and that you can listen to constantly from beginning to end?

it could be any genre, and type (original album, compilation, soundtrack/various artists, greatest hits, etc.).

I was gonna go with Sam Cooke "Portrait of a Legend", but I'm gonna opt to go with his live album from 1963, "One Night Stand". I can pop this CD in anytime and just be energized by it. It's short (about 1/2 and hour) but one hell of a show. All the tracks are amazing, but the apex is when he comes to "Bring it on Home to Me", when he just tears the house down. In my opinion, this is the best live performance ever caught on tape.

Listening to it just makes me wonder what it was like to be there.

Anyone else?

Purple Rain for sure. Since most of the time I find myself in the mood to either play some funk, pop, soul or rock..this album ticks all the boxes!

Hard question to me as my music usually reflects my mood.
But if I had to choose one album it would probably something by RZA - most probably "Digital Bullet". There are songs for whatever I'm in mood for. I would also consider "Gang Related" soundtrack or "Better Dayz" but I think "Digital Bullet" is the one for me.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

If not that, then any album by Ministry of the Sound, because they have like 142343243243242543545964 songs on one album...

The one Album that I could listen to whenever is Led Zeppelin IV. It has songs like "Black Dog", "Rock and Roll", "The Battle of Evermore", "Going to California", and "Stairway to Heaven". That does it for me.

Depends in the mood that im in. There's actually so many i can't even say them all but i will go by genre.

Rap: Makaveli The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory
Rock: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Greatest Hits
Oldies: Brenton Wood - 1960's Anthology
Funk: Zapp And Roger - Greatest Hits Vol. 1
Grunge: Nirvana - Nirvana

So many more but those are the main ones.
