i really like streethop and all but i wish there was a quality alternative to mrmakaveli when it comes to 2pac stuff. its not that i dont like mrmakaveli but to me its like the bastard child of hitemup (forget who said that first)...

imo freetupac.com should be made into a tupac community, kinda like the sequel to the stolen hitemup. im sure alot of members from here would contribute.

dont worry, keep posting on streethop and you'll see what pops up one of these days for all the 2Pac fans :thumb: StreetHop still supports 2Pac all the way and if you support hitemup then support streethop too because its not the name of the site thats special, its all the people on streethop that make it special.

Bad business move on yours and Jon's part. If Jon got some money out of it, not such a bad business move but either way you guys got shafted in the end.

How was it a bad business move on Jon's part? Jon couldnt afford to pay for the server, they paid for the server in exchange for advertising space, and we regained total control. Id jump at the opportunity to do that again. Someone can pay the $200+ a month bill in exchange for putting their banner where the google banners are.

Regardless, who cares, bad decision or not, what's done is done. We're not discussing the validity of Jon's business practices here we're discussing what happened to the domain name.

So, the forum was called Streethop but the domain name was still hitemup.com?

Are you sure you don't mean "streethop" AKA Hip Hop Heads, the sub forum?

Rukas owned a website with Jon called streethop.com... It was a partner of hitmeup... While Tupac was still the heading of the forum... he hip-hop part of the forum still existed.

^^ Im pretty sure Jon ended up donating all of the approx $100 that was donated, or used it to pay off the remainder of the hosting bills.

It was Napoleon Dynamite that said "girls like guys with hacker skills". It was at the time that Rukas was looking to impress Thugbabe. He then hacked HitEmUp and played stupid with Jon.

pretty f-in tight how 2pacboard has its own section. o and i just noticed how the 2PACBOARD.COM URL points to it.

would be tight if the welcome section of sh was displayed over there as well as our block, that way i wont have to jump back and fourth, id probably be over there most of the time.
