Since in that other thread a few people said they liked Next Friday better than the original, lemme ask this, did you guys watch Friday WHEN it came out? Back in 95? Or you guys saw Next Friday, heard bout the one b4 that and then seen it?

Friday was a classic.

yeah basically the case you described is mine. someone had next friday and i watched that and then i went back and watched the first one. it's not like i sat down while we were a bunch of us hanging out going "no way im watching this just in case by cosmic coincidence there is a prequel" so yeah.

and like i said in the other thread, i don't like next friday because it is the better movie, i like it because it brings back the fonder memories.

O...K.... But Next Friday was fuckin horrible! I really cannot stand the guy that plays Dey Dey. Every movie that he is in he's always a whiney little bitch!

Yeah, some times he makes me feel anxious. It's not like i actually have problems breathing but some times when he talks on the screen i get that feeling like i'm gasping for air. The fucker is so bad at explaining shit, he uses words that could mean a million things, he's such a general speaker and he can't put his fucking thoughts to words. The Dey Dey character I mean. I watched this a few years back though. He annoyed me then too, but I still liked the movie. So like I said, when I watch it i am able to briefly emulate a mind state or an era that I miss. These are good associations which make the movie better, because they make me happy, and whatever I'm doing while I'm being happy, at a later point in time I will associate the doing of that thing with being happy. Uh.

Only reason I'm using all this time to explain it is your "O...K..." made it seem like you were unaware of the concept. I thought all people did this shit.

I understood wat you originally meant. The "O...K...." was mainly my own personal feeling cause i can't believe somebody actually likes Next Friday more than Friday.

I dont remember exactly. But I'm pretty sure I saw Friday before I saw Next Friday. I dunno though.

Friday = Next Friday > Friday After Next

I like the first two movies about as much as each other.

man you guys are crazy, there's no way Next Friday or Friday After Next is even close to the first Friday. classic shit right there. the sequels have their moments, but neither even comes close to what Cube and Chris Tucker did in the first one.

even tho i watched "next friday" first, the more i think about it, the more i agree. like i said earlier, the movies got more and more family-ish as the series progressed.
