I do not consider myself some philosophical thinker. I think and i say my thoughts lol. Your assumptions are worthless.
To SOFI i'm not gonna say much. I like you. Besides that, you don't masturbate and you're a guy. STFU. To Scruffy i'll say that yeah okay. I choose not to respond in a challenging manner. I'll post whatever I feel like posting when I feel like posting it lol. STFU2.
LOL.
seriously, i have never heard of that, but it would most likely be pronounciated "nyss-ah" like that.
edit: did some further investigating.
wiki says "nissa" is the correct norwegian way to spell it. this is wrong. it's "nisse", "nissa" is plural in dialect. in southern norway they'd say "nisser". the base form of the word is "nisse", which traditionally is used to desribe an elf-like creature. like santa's helpers, not like your typical forest elf. "nissen", which basically means "the nisse" means "santa claus".
it's not nyss-ah as in nyzza as in wazaaaaaaaaap. how do i put this lol. i could try and get audio with some time but for now uh. in norwegian, the word is masculine and does not end with an "a". in my particular dialect, i would say "nissa" if i was talking about several of them, if not, "nisse". could be a way to feminisise the name too though, because like i said, in norwegian, grammatically, the word is a masculine word.
but if her name is indeed "nissa" it's no point calling her "nisse" lol. so to answer your question, it's like "niss sah" (as in "elliot ness" and the "sa" in "salar") as two standalone words but without a pause in the middle
