The Best Rapper

Before you make yourself look stupid......

I shouldn't of really singled you out like that. For that I apologize.

I'm just tired of hearin people dis mainstream shit like it aint a thing and then go and call themselves real fans of music or a head. If you're a real fan of music you take it for what it is and listen to nearly everything you can get your hands on, not cus you like it cus you want to experience everything you can. You understand what certain songs are made for and take them for what they are. You don't sit there and diss a song or group or rapper cus you don't like em, you respect someone else's opinion and dont hate on em for liking that shit. I'm all for talkin about why you might not like it but as soon as someone brings up radio play, album sales, aint as good as 80's or 90's or whatever other "purist" excuse it's like shut the hell up. You sayin you don't listen to the radio or artists from the radio makes me think you're just as dumb as people not tryin to discover music from the bottom up, cus from their point of view you are just as dumb as you think they are, and no ones point of view is better than someone elses. Sorry for the long ass bullshit
i dint call myself hiphop head
and what if i dont listen mainstream is it a bad thing
rap music isnt bout money i dont care how much someone sells
if i dont like mainstream then thats my opinion
and yes i dont listen radio cause here in finland rap music isnt palyed so often in radio stations.

^That wasn't all directed at you. But if listenin to a radio isn't a big thing why even say it like it means something.

I don't neccessarily hate the term Head, it's just someone who has enough love for this shit to go and explore more if you ask me. I hate some heads though, but thats something else

there's a difference between wanting to experience music as you put it aron, and listening to and hearing the crap that's put out today. most of the music today doesn't mean anything, it's just commercially created, money making drivel. it doesn't matter if it was made for the club or the radio, that doesn't mean it can't suck. truth is, there was a lot of crap back in the 90's too, but the good far outweighed the bad music back then. nowadays its the exact opposite.

No one said the music can't suck, a lot of music sucks. But that doesn't mean you don't listen. Give everything a chance is the way I see it, and if you don't like it leave it at that. No need to boast and brag about not liking something when that is all you say.

Like Weezy threads for example, same people come in sayin the same rhetoric about why they dont like him. Ok we heard you say that before, leave it at that and don't go in the thread. Be constructive at least, talk about the track not that he kissed another man or keep talkin about how his voice annoys you, point a line out or something.

I just want more depth, not the shit I listen to is better than this therefore I am better than this so this shit is grabage in 95 it wouldnt last cus real hip-hop dont exist cus the south is bad and it all sounds the same cars money jewelry i listen to real shit cus its underground and it sounds different and not a lot of people like it but im above that so of course i like it and talk about how its the real shit blah blah im generalizing of course, um yeah.....
